neilser
On the BBC iPlayer just now (won't be broadcast on TV). Pretty good stuff - some of the clips of utter nuggets from the No camp expressing their views were cringeworthy.
Khana Lagur
I thought it was pretty poor stuff TBH. Not surprised it only made iPlayer.
neilser
The format (getting two non-Scottish comediennes and that total knobber Tim Luckhurst on as well) didn't really work and seems to have been something that was imposed upon him. I Iiked the stuff that Frankie did though.

Clyde1998
heard it was heavily edited Wouldn't surprise me. They cut him off of Comic Relief one year for being too offensive...
Toepoke
Yeah I thought it had its moments but I did get the feeling some juicier stuff hadn't made the cut...
Armchair Bob
"We are very lucky to have a completely impartial broadcast media." That Tim Luckhurts inhabits an alternative universe.
neilser
"We are very lucky to have a completely impartial broadcast media." That Tim Luckhurts inhabits an alternative universe. He's the guy whose take on the right to self determination is that the rest of the UK should also have had a vote on whether Scotland should be allowed to be independent - he's 'wired tae the moon' that one. http://www.dailymail.co.uk/debate/article-1384694/Why-neighbours-Kent-denied-say-break-nation.html
Toepoke
You could tell Frankie thought he was talking absolute shite...
exile
Just watched, was not as bad as feared. If you think of it not as comedy, but a chat show with some humour in it then it was Ok. Interesting to see Boyle in political mode, that a comedian more known for f words made points sharper (even in jest) than a lot of the professional media pundits in the mainstream media. Pool Q
"We are very lucky to have a completely impartial broadcast media." I found it astonishing that Boyle didn't challenge that. Maybe it was edited, who knows?
Guest Extreme0
I found it astonishing that Boyle didn't challenge that. Maybe it was edited, who knows? Maybe he realises that no matter what, the BBC ain't gonna budge for him.
sbcmfc
Ended up watching it in 15 minute bursts, but was amusing enough I went back to see the rest.
