Slide tackle
Me and 3 pals are hoping to go to metz for the game if it gets announced, however we are all only 16/17. Emailed a few hotels with no luck, either fully booked or saying the hotel rules are 18+. We've stayed places in scotland trouble free, but was wondering if by law we'd be allowed to stay in a hotel? Hopefully its just going to be a case of emailing every hotel until we get a green light

Fairbairn
You might have better luck with hostels than hotels.
deecie
Passports checked ? They only ever take the Passport number. They'd also not throw you out onto a French street. Children are idiots these days. I blame the parents.

thewelk
They don't ask for id when checking in to french hotels. Always found it a bit strange. Probably connected to their culture of adultery. But if you look too young they might ask anyway. Get the beards grown out a bit and you'll be fine. Armchair Bob
Every French town, village and city has a municipal campsite. Get yourself booked in there. Usually you don't even have to book, just turn up. Your only lookout is, like most campsites, it's no noise after 11pm. http://www.ukcampsite.co.uk/sites/reviews.asp?revid=7030

phart
Buy one over there for as cheap as possible and dtich it. although a tent would fit in a bag no bother. Just don't pitch it before you board and you'll be fine.
