killiefaetheferry
Leaning towards a bet on Chile with home advantage. Will have a look around the bookies for special offers though. Starts Friday at 00.30.
BremnerLorimerGray
My mate flew out on Sunday to cover the tournament. More than a month in Santiago, added in to the month or so spent in Rio last summer the jammy . Should the Copa America go ahead next year in the States, I will definitely be joining him for it. Kirk
Hard to judge who will win this. Argentina would be a shout but you can never tell, and theres always a chance one of the underdogs will have a great tournament. Chile maybe isnt a terrible shout either. Columbia with Falcao back too, they were good at the World Cup
sbcmfc
I wonder when it comes to the crunch if Colombia or Chile will beat Argentina or Brazil? I believe there's a bit of a mental block when it comes to these games. Having been to most of the 39 games on the trot where Motherwell failed to beat Rangers, despite several "you'll never get a better chance" moments the psychology behind this intrigues me. Perhaps Brazil's pumping in the WC semi final and brazilian clubs poor performance in the liberatadores last season will have removed some of that fear? Toepoke
Perhaps Brazil's pumping in the WC semi final and brazilian clubs poor performance in the liberatadores last season will have removed some of that fear? Or maybe they'll be inspired by Motherwell's humping of Rangers?...

I was thinking the same re Chile Should be decent odd behind Argies and Brazil, Augero and Messi for Argentina has the potential to win any tournie...think Augero got a hatrick in a friendly the other day
Shotts56
Should be a good tournament - Chile as hosts with Alexis Sanchez will do well. Argentina have to be favourites, but Brazil are on some run under Dunga (9 wins in a row). Colombia have got the players as well who could do it. The only ones I would rule out would be Uruguay, with no Suarez. i always like the Copa America - lots of late nights up over the next few weeks, I imagine. Has some agreement been reached because of the Copa, I know the same happened for the Rugby League World Cup when we got free coverage throughout that tournament. Nah I don't think so, watched it on Bet 365 on that wee screen in the corner which was a pain! Brazil Colombia tonight should be a cracker, have staked quite a bit on a Neymar goal and Brazil win, 2/1, 19/10 when I got it.
Parklife
Colombia beat Brazil 1-0. With Neymar being shown a red card after the final whistle. Pleasing.

Grim Jim
Venezuela lose to Peru after going a man down. This group with Colombia & Brazil in it are all on 3 pts. Peru have saved the latter two's bacon it seems.

TartanDave
fancy colombia to beat peru. Brazil without neymar are an entirely different proposition, still should win but don't think I'd bet on it!
