Menschlich
I can't recall him advocating spearing a dead body. He wanted to stamp the word "quisling" on his political opponents heads.
Marky
Another sterling performance from Nicola on Scotland 2015, despite Sarah's rather silly attempts to be Jeremy Paxman. Always assured, never flustered, answered every question fully and came across as totally sincere. She is truly amazing. What a leader. Always assured, never flustered, answered every question fully and came across as totally sincere. She is truly amazing. What a leader. She's really come into her own in the last few weeks, to the extent that Salmond is scarcely even mentioned any more by the right wing press. The 'most dangerous woman in Britain' stuff is laughable. I'm going to be in London for work for the next two days so will be interested to see what my colleagues think of her and the SNP - have had to bite my tongue on a few occasions when I've overheard some misinformed comments previously, but I'll try to a slip in a reference to London being the most subsidised part of the UK and see how that goes down. Charlie Endell
"If an in/out EU referendum does go ahead, we will seek to amend the legislation to ensure that no constituent part of the UK can be taken out of the EU against its will. We will propose a 'double majority' rule - meaning that unless England, Scotland, Wales and Northern Ireland each vote to leave the EU, the UK would remain a member state." "We believe that women should be properly represented in public life. We will push for 50:50 representation on public and private boards, and ensure that women are fairly treated at work with action to secure equal pay and greater support for working parents with increased paternity leave." SNP - the party of statism and government control over every aspect of private life This isn't taking into account their love of minimum alcohol pricing and various other Public Health crusades. I voted SNP uninterrupted from when I cast my first vote until the last elections for the Scottish Parliament. However, as a result of their ever increasing intervention in people's private lives (accompanied by a smug 'nanny knows best' attitude) I no longer entertain them (which, as everyone else and their granny now votes for them, makes heehaw difference). The SNP is no more a 'cult' than supporting Ayrshire's second team is a 'cult'. This deliberately negative and extremist conotation is used by supporters of the Westminster parties who have allowed the political system in the UK to stagnate over the decades. It suits them to have anything 'different' portrayed as extremist or wierd. Edit : You can't write 'K1ll1e' ?? The more vocal supporter of SNP have the "Your austerity is vile/Our austerity is just" attitude. If the SNP deliver then I'll be the first to hold my hands up and congratulate, like I did with the corp tax, albeit prematurely and I've since withdrawn my congratulations. I'm well past the point of buying into soundbites or even manifesto's with the SNP, history dictates I'd be let down.
