kmcca5
Oliver Burke on for forest, anyone know anything about him? From Forrest website.... Oliver Burke Midfielder The winger started the 2014-15 season in explosive form, putting in strong performances at Under 18s and Under 21s level. Nicknamed Twisty, Burke's strengths include bombing past full backs using his raw speed to get to the byline and deliver for the strikers. Confident on the ball, the wide man is a yard ahead of his marker before the ball has even reached him, meaning he's a constant danger. When required, he can also be a useful physical presence, never shy to make a challenge. His work-rate going in both directions provides a huge aid to the right back playing behind him. Burke can operate as a centre forward too, and has featured for Scotland at youth level.

wanderer
. I read on some forum he's Chris Burke's cousin. Hopefully that's true and he has Scotland leanings. Can see nothing to back that up. He is from Melton Mowbray, which is not all that far from Corby (refereed to as "little Glasgow" as per head at one point, has the highest number Scots living in it in England) so could have strong Scottish roots. Can not seem to find many squads he has been involved in with Scotland, but looks like he was part of the training camps held in England last month that produced 20+ players eligible to play for Scotland (with a fair number finding their way into squads at various levels as a result)

Sounds like he has potential.
wanderer
The SFA are doing there homework on these players, if there is a connection they will know about it. Sounds like he has potential. Seems to be their new plan of attack over the last year or so to get as many players who are eligible to play for us in the squad at a early age. They were saying how impressed they were with what they saw at last months training camp made up of English based players (plus a couple of Scottish based ones and Jack Harper) and plan to make it a regular thing. ErsatzThistle
Burnley would do well to bring Fletcher back to Turf Moor on loan. Gives them a good player to fight relegation with plus he already knows the club from his wee spell there. I really want to see Fletcher play up front with Naismith in behind him but we need Fletcher to be getting regular club football.

Robroysboy
I hope McGregors confidence is OK. Got a bit of a doing against man city, but had no chance with any of the goals. Well taken by augeuro and dezuko ( excuse spelling)
Robroysboy
McArthur getting a regular 90 mins with crystal palace. Thought he had a great chance to score in Dortmund buthis shot had no power to trouble their keeper.

girvanTA
Its funny to see Luke Shaw go to Man Utd for £20 million and Robertson go to Hull for £2 million, I know who is better value for money and who I would rather have in my team, Robertson every day of the week for me. Well taken by augeuro and dezuko ( excuse spelling) I would disagree with that. I think he's a very good keeper, and probably one of the better ones in the EPL. However, I thought he could have done better with a couple of the goals yesterday. He's still very worthy of a place in our squad but certainly not first choice !
