Kittymeister
Looks like Nottingham Forrest are on the look out for a new Manager now that Psycho had been offered an alternative position within the club. Wonder if they will look to the North East of Scotland for the next Manager?

Kittymeister
Said he has been sacked and was gonna be pumped if they didna beat Derby a few games back. No sympathy. No sympathy for Pearce but if I was the Chairman of Dundee United or Aberdeen I might get a wee bit anxious when the phone rings.
flynnyboy
No sympathy for Pearce but if I was the Chairman of Dundee United or Aberdeen I might get a wee bit anxious when the phone rings. Why any club would appoint Pearce is beyond me. He was similar to stark in that he was a joke figure during his time with the u21s and assist man at england. His problem is simple. He is a man of extremely limited intelligence. Promoted to positions outwith his ability levels. In all honestly I think Mcinnes and McNamara both have their eyes on bigger jobs, or jobs for clubs not ran atrociously.

GavfaeKillie
Dougie Freedman new manager.
AberdeenAngus
Freedman appointed. McInnes says he is committed to 4 year 'project'. Having signed up a lot players for the majority of that time I'm inclined to take him at his word. Think his sacking at Bristol is still a bit raw in any case. jock strap
It can only benefit the Scottish game if we keep "our" managers. But money talks and careers can be short so it's inevitable we lose them to the best leagues in the world

Toepoke
Wonder if they will look to the North East of Scotland for the next Manager? With McInnes' beard he'd be more suited to the job of sheriff there... Edited February 1, 2015 by Toepoke

jock strap
The English Championship? Nowhere near the best league in the world, but I hate to say that IMO, it's better than our top league
Flora MaDonald
At least Pearce will have time to help his brother dish out BNP leaflets at the election.
sbcmfc
Is the championship not something like the 4th biggest league in Europe in terms of attendances and money? Not necessarily 4th best, but there are a lot of genuine sleeping Giants in the championship, Leeds, Nottingham forrest etc, that are nearer to Celtic than they are to the rest of the SPFL. ErsatzThistle
Great player for club and country Mediocre manager Horrible personality That about right ? I've read a few times now that he's supposed to have said something that was a bit close to the bone before a Scotland vs. England game in the early/mid nineties which really inflamed opinion up here. What exactly did he say ?
