Scunnered was admitted to Crosshouse Hospital earlier this evening, after having masturbated himself into a coma on hearing the news that Katy Clark MP had voted against the austerity measures.

Family and close friends maintain a vigil by his bedside, each taking turns in reading excerpts from Iain Gray's excellent Bus Regulation (Scotland) Bill, in the hope that its stirring socialist message of bus companies being able to group profitable routes alongside non-profitable ones (or something) might rouse Scunny from his onanistic stupor.

An honest question.

What is the alternative?

No cuts and an increase in Public Spending to get people back to work providing services and paying taxes and not claiming benifits.

Making all companies pay the tax due to the country in which they operate.

No more pointless Neo-colonial wars.

Real Investment in renewable energy to remove the country from the chokehold of foriegn energy companies.

There's plenty of wealth and money in the system. It's just with the wrong people at the moment.

There's nothing wrong with cuts, as long as they are in the right places.

e.g. cut Trident.

It saddens me that you're wasting away in a party full of Heathers. :(

If cuts are absolutely necessary then they should be found, from things that are not essential. Like WMD's that will never be used.

Especially when nobody in the world believes we would use them. So, if nobody thinks we'd use them, what 'deterrent' do they actually provide? None. A complete waste of money.

Before any cuts are considered though, revenue should be maximised in ensuring as much taxes due are actually received.

How about actually creating a heap of new jobs at HMRC to ensure they know who is due to pay what and ensure it's actually chased and collected.

Sitting having a coffee and this came back to me. If you believe I hate the SNP then you're wrong my grumpy old friend :ok:

My good friend Cove Sheep has seen first, and second hand the nonsense that I have to deal with on a daily basis coming from SNP supporters, members and representatives. It's little wonder I'm.... Frustrated.

If that is in fact the case, then I will stand corrected.

and for the record, I do not support any political party, as there is no political party, that meets all my political ideals. (although some do come close)

Hopefully the yes voters of Motherwell can get rid of the odious Frank Roy , a guy who sold his soul to get his nose in the money trough of Westminister politics. Lots of labour voters here have turned against them for siding with the Tories in the referendum.lets hope they are enough to get that waste of space out

I could tell a story about how a fictitious steel plant in his constituency was fighting for its very existence and how he and (let's call him Jock McCannell) a colleague, came reluctantly to a meeting with local management to discuss what we they thought how the plant could be supported thro an extremely difficult period and how he cursed and swore a lot and offered no support.

But I won't.

Did we expect otherwise? She's a star , my MSP would do well to learn from her example... Unfortunately he's a bellend who won't be seen to be doing anything unless it boosts his profile. A Jim Murphy lite if you will.

Aye, fair play to her and to others in the Labour party - like Dianne Abbott and Dennis Skinner - who still have some principles. They are a rapidly diminishing species, however. My useless, virtually invisible (hopefully soon to be former) MP voted for it, unsurprisingly.

The UK badly needs a proper, electable left-wing party, along the lines of Syriza in Greece. After some of the great work carried out during the independence campaign by groups like the Common Wheel and RIC I thought there might be a chance that one could emerge in post-independence Scotland. It wasn't to be, however. At least, not yet.
