Kittymeister
Looks like Alan Irvine has just been punted. And whilst I am sure that the Jimmy Caldrwood image will appear shortly; maybe of more concern is Derek McInnes being approached.
Parklife
Pulis being interviewed. Phew...
SMcoolJ
Think it's likely to be Pulis or Sherwood. I'd be more worried about McInnes going if they were in the Championship.

EddardStark
Sherwood will get it. Pulis cant handle the director of football structure at West Brom. Its all or nothing for Pulis. Never understood what the whole director of football role is at a club. Surely as manager you would want complete control of everything. On a side note, why is padrew leaving a club that has managed to turn around to go to a club fighting relegation?

He has done a great job in my opinion considering what he has had to handle but the slackjaws still think they should be a Champions League club. He should be taking a more long term view, ensuring focus is put on developing a way of playing, that youth players are developed and that a change of manager doesn't mean ripping everything up and starting again. It's a vital role for big clubs. I'm unsure why many don't respect the value of it.
daddybuc16
Fans maybe believe the hype on match of the day. About how they should be further up the table etc. But for the hype of it being the most competitive league, the top 6 places pretty much sort themselves. It's a vital role for big clubs. I'm unsure why many don't respect the value of it. Because the only time the role is brought up in the press is when there is a dispute between the DoF and the manager. A lot of clubs are trying to use one without really understanding the function of the role themselves. BTW, you described the role very well
jimstroma
McCoist is 2nd favourite with the bookies for the Newcastle job. As an Ex Sunderland player it might be a challenge winning the fans over!

I think his managerial record would make that a certainty regardless of his playing background!
Robroysboy
Mcoist linked with Newcastle as much chance as Gazza getting it. Would be very suprised.
Kittymeister
Derek McInnes to Newcastle so that Mike Ashley can assess his suitability for the gig at Ibrox first hand.
ErsatzThistle
Pulis gets West Brom and Chris Hughton gets Brighton.Despite being the outstanding candidate Ally missed out. Something to do with failing to win the Challenge Cup.
kumnio
Ally is holding out for Liverpool or Arsenal, a manager of his caliber wouldnt even consider West Brom or Brighton.
