Beggars Bush a good pub does good Guinness and Beamish and reasonably priced.

If your looking for a pre match meal the Camden Court Hotel does a great carvery for €11 might seem pricey but really good quality and will fill you up for the day and put good lining on the stomach.

Also there's D2 Harcourt Hotel €6:50/€7:00 for a meal normally does price discounts on a Thursday night and there's a Niteclub downstairs.

I've a choice of three hotels booked but with free cancellation.

One in Parnell Square, one on St. Stephens Square or the Lombard Pub & Townhouse.

By previous comments, I assume forget the first option.

Any thoughts ?

Parnell Square is on the Northside of the city so you would be on the wrong side for the stadium - the lombard pub & townhouse is a stones throw from Trinity College and on the southside of the city although O'Connell street main street on the Northside and Grafton street main street on the southside are close by rake of pubs on Dame Street 25 minute walk to ground from here - St. Stephens Square presuming this is near St. Stephens Green again very central on the southside so right side for the ground again less than 30 min walk to ground - hope this helps.
