giblet
Link to spreadsheets showing electoral roll size by voting region @ April 2014. Any calculations will have to factor in additional registration which I think is around 150k mark. http://www.gro-scotland.gov.uk/statistics/theme/electoral-stats/10-march-2014/tables-and-figure.html

giblet
Have put together a wee spreadsheet that allows you to put turnout in and also whatever your guess is by region and calculates a result. Only thing missing is the factor taking into account turnout by campaign groups (ie the premise that YES voters will turnout more than NO as a % of their group). Anyone wanting it, DM me. Armchair Bob
Midlothian is going to be yes for sure. Borders (Berwickshire anyway - can't vouch for Galashiels etc) is going to be no. I also think Orkney will be yes.
giblet
Aberdeen and Aberdeenshire together account for about 375k of the electorate, what do you think the % will be there?

The wee bit of Dalry I live (Carsehead) is 5 yes 1 no 1 undecided (the wife - sure she's a Yes but playing hard to get) and 7 who don't say. johnnie x
After a Yes, if Edinburgh has voted No, should it lose the its status as capital? Yes, it should go to the city with the highest yes percentage. Dundee Capital of Scotland 2016.
MacWalka
After a Yes, if Edinburgh has voted No, should it lose the its status as capital? Nah, Glasgow has enough going for it and there's no other city in the country that has the 'status' to be a capital except maybe Stirling, which may be a No too.
