Just got an email from the supporters club asking to let them know what games from the above that i would be travelling to.They say it is so they can try and get a bigger allocation than the 5% minimum.Probably won't make a difference but i suggest everybody that is planning to travel put in the games they are going to....you never know it might do some good.

See they've said collection and not only lead booker?

Bit of work involved if we were to gat 4000 or 5000 tickets for Cyprus or Spain. Usually juat a token amount of pick ups. In all the years i have been going to away games i have probably only had to pick up tickets maybe 3 or 4 times.

Agree. Recently when club sides (who operate collections)have played at that stadium n cyprus they've scrapped the need for collections die to the logistics of everyone coming from different parts of Cyprus. Can't for life remember last time we played there if we had to pick up.

Ssc may feel that as the ticket has your passport number and name which has to match  they may feel that's a suffient alternative for them.

Feel they will do more checks than in recent years due to euros next year and potential to chance it for an extra two points.

As I have a foreign address I have to pick up for every game.

Last time in Cyprus there was actually 2 pick ups at the stadium - one for the official SFA allocation for those chosen to pick up and a bigger queue for those who Davy Provan ( buses) had bought tickets for.

I had completely missed that note when I was filling in the poll.

Fair play to the SFA if they choose to enforce it. It’ll mean they’ll have a jolly for a decent number of their staff to man the ticket collections.  It is a fair bit of work indeed - I think the biggest collections in the past must have been maybe Netherlands play-off (2001?) and Ukraine away (2006?).

I guess them trying to get the message out early is to try and stifle demand and discourage harvesting.

Yes. Can understand them trying to stop harvesting.. no problem with that. Just think if it is a 100% pick up and we get 4000 or 5000 tickets... it could be interesting to say the least.

If it is 100% pick up the buses will need to leave at midday for the 9.45pm KO 😂

Was a huge pick in Prague for the 4-6-0 game.

That was back when that prick was announcing the team 10hrs prior to KO. We were in the queue for tickets at the hotel. When the team came through the atmosphere dropped like a stone.

Vienna last year as 100% pick up but that was due to logistics.

From memory, the Celtic Cup games in dublin were all 100% pick up too.

I can’t remember picking up in Prague or Dublin - which only tells me that my drinking probably got worse as I got older - probably to cope with the football on offer. 🤣

Yip, picked up in Dublin for the NI game. I was pinged in Prague for the 4-6-0 game.

Others I can think of were Israel, Armenia, Georgia and Malta.

What time are the busses expected to arrive at the stadium? From memory last time it was 1-2 hours before to enjoy the 'fanzone'

Will probably be the same….the Polis escort dictated the leaving times from each location so all 40 buses didn’t arrive together.

Sure the game in Kiev was 100% pick up - remember long queues at the hotel (near the ground)

It was and in a tiny room making it worse.

The problem with Cyprus will that folks will be staying all over the island so a pain to get your ticket other than match day at the stadium
