RenfrewBlue
jeez never even thought of it that way.is there nothing in the constitution about the right to head a ballSadly I think the phrase "head the ball" is only in the constitution to describe the leader of the NRA. phart
Loads of new information on brain trauma in boxing/MMA and American Football. A friend of mine is finishing off her studies in Philly and her specialization is head trauma. Working closely with the Eagles this season as well. Concussions negatively affecting behaviour as well. It's a real problem in American Football the collisions they have in game are insane these days, with all the "armor" and HGH.
Blantyre_Braveheart
I wouldn't mind it being introduced here as it would force youth coaches to train them about passing and movement rather than the age old method of punting the ball to the big kid up front. I used to hate heading the ball as a kid when it had been frosty. It was like nutting a pebbledashed wall
Return of Yermaw
I hope John Beattie doesn't see the article or that will be the next two weeks of his Radio Scotland programme devoted to it......
