Angusfifer
Going by the map of the ground on the SFA website it looks like we are in for a decent turnout. On the other hand the powers that be have previous in releasing batches of tickets in bits and drabs. What size of crowd can we expect in a fortnight? jimstroma
Will be close to sellout, my guess - 49,
Robroysboy
Will be close to sellout, my guess - 49,568 God bless your optimism Jim. If the SFA had their pricing structure correct you would be spot on.
northernscum
Will be close to sellout, my guess - 49,568 That won't even be the combined attendances of both games. Well done SFA

Magnum
I think it will be more than most people expect. We were let down by our usual mini bus provider and have not been able to get another one for hire in or around Aberdeen, on the day of the Gibraltar game. That suggests to me that there will be the usual big turnout from people travelling from North East, which will be replicated in other parts of the country. Strong Like Ox
Looking at the staium ticket availability online doesn't give much of an accurate ticket sale unfortunately - since the whole east stand looks sold out, but I expect is ring fenced for the 10,000 free tickets to youth group offer here: http://www.scottishfa.co.uk/scottish_fa_news.cfm?page=2986&newsID=14455&newsCategoryID=1 . There will probably only be a couple of thousand of those tickets snapped up I reckon. South Stand Upper won't be used, so that 'sold out' section will be empty. If only the SFA didn't persist with this 'season ticket' idea, then a bit more foresight could have moved the match to somewhere like Pittodrie or Easter Road where you don't have to rely on dishing out 10k of free tickets to push up the attendance. On the other hand the powers that be have previous in releasing batches of tickets in bits and drabs. What size of crowd can we expect in a fortnight? Bear in mind that 10,000 tickets have been ring-fenced for Youth Groups, the majority in the East Stand which is completely greyed out. Id think that the corner of the West Stand adjacent to the South Stand is greyed out for the same reason. From what I can see, there will still be plenty of tickets available and that's the way it should be given the SFA's obsurd pricing. Had they priced the matches correctly, this would've sold out no problem without giving 10,000 away.
