The I Like Shay Logan Thread

There you go bringing religion into it again.

Anyway wasn't 13 the evil number for covens etc?

And there you go asking questions.

And there I go answering them...

Jesus had 12 Apostles.

'The enemy' mocks that by having 12 witches in a coven (and 13 altogether counting satan).

By using God's perfect template they believe in their delusion that they will ultimately have success.

'11' is the symbolic Biblical number (from the Book of Daniel) for the antichrist whom the luciferians will usher into power on the world throne.

Cheers Scotty, everyday is a school day. Ask and yes shall find.

I was only yanking your chain as a wee joke but forgot the smiley!

I wasn't aware of the 11 link, as I read the Bible about 30 years ago and my memory isn't what it once was. ?

One more...

Why is a 'spell' sometimes referred to as a 'hex'?

Because when casting a (big important) spell it takes 6 witches to sit naked and cross-legged on the points of a HEXagram that has been marked on the floor.

You sure you're a Christian? You seem to know a lot about the Dark Side of the Force. ?

Nah. Hex came into American English (meaning 'witch') from Pennsylvanian German. It's a Germanic word related to English Hag. Old High German: Hagzus; Middle High German: Hecse; Modern German: Hexe.

According to the OED anyroad, and they know their onions.

Wish I went to your school, ya lucky bas.

The Hugh Heff's association with that film raises unwarranted expectations (apart from Francesca Annis in the 'sleepwalking' scene  ). What really makes it virtually unwatchable though is Keith Chegwin's turn as Fleance.

It was the naked witches coven that nearly killed me. A lot old women in the buff. ?
