Serious legal question

Say If at the end of all this carry on (when ever that may be) Rangers 1889 still owe creditors £5 million, (LLoyds already have their money, Ticketus are suing Whyte personally for theirs, and the big tax case seems to be going in Rangers favour) could someone approach BDO, and offer to take over the business, by paying off the remaining debt, and therfore avoid final liquidation, or is it already to late.

Just because ticketus are also suing whyte doesn't mean that the debt from rangers to ticketus just disappears. It is still owed.

But the same debt can't be owed twice, Ticketus are either owned the money by Whyte or by Rangers not by both. However the finances at Rangers are now so byzantine that any discussion is pure speculation, as Donald would say there at too many unknown, unknowns.

Jeezo, you want to kill the board stone dead? We'll all need facts before expressing an opinion?

Sheesh!

That's not what I said. Too many people on here either pretend their opinion is fact and represent it as such or just get their jollies on rumours and utter nonsense.

The double standards are ridiculous too as if a Rangers fan says anything they are shouted down with vitriol. It's quite sad that no actual intelligent debate is possible.

Always the victim.

It's not the same debt. It's two different causes of action. Ticketus can't unjustly enrich themselves by recovering the same funds twice but it is still debts owed by both.

so to those who follow this closely..... it all seems to be outside of the current business and ownership from a legal perspective. But there must be a point when this changes.

If the club was fraudulently purchased, then put into administration where the administrators who sold the assets colluded and fraudulently sold the assets, then the new owners committed fraud etc, etc....

there must now be a long, long list of creditors and investors who were victims. They will surely at some point exercise claims on the going concern and assets ?

are there any scenarios whereby this impacts the current club positively or negatively ???
