AberdeenAngus
That was a satisfying win today. Played really well and could and should have won by more. On to Motherwell now to see how we get on there.
Donaldo87
Hope you get pumped on Sunday It is good to see someone else at the top of the league well into the season and 5 points between the top 5 ain't bad going either
Hertsscot
Anyone know when was the last time the Dons were top of the league at New Year?
AberdeenAngus
All those mainly Rangers but also some Hearts fans saying the Premiership wouldn't be competitive but the Championship would. 15 points between 1st and 7th in the big boys league the same gap as between 1st and 2nd in the second tier. I think the word is pleasing
Capital Saint
You ever seen Brazil beat Aberdeen like??? Nuff said. No, but I have seen Saints beat the mighty "Brazilian beaters" 5 buff. Oh,and I also saw "Who the is Stevie May" score a double against them too
Rossy
Away from the league position thing, I've been watching the Dons for nigh on 40 years and I can't remember a time when we've had so many shut outs. What is it, 11 in the last 13 games ? All the more remarkable when you realise we're not talking about Miller, McLeish and Leighton....we're talking Ash Taylor, Scott Brown and Andy Considine.... Cove_Sheep
Spent all game waiting for a sucker punch. St Johnstone certainly fortunate they weren't on the receiving end of an absolute hiding.
AberdeenAngus
Why does Frazer Wright run to the referee and or linesman every time a decision is given against his team - even cast iron ones? Comes over as a right bawbag.

Gala Tartan Army (Borders)
On a separate note, I thought it was going to be over 19k at Aberdeen today? BBC says only 15k.

Crowd certainly looked much bigger than that. I'd say it was more like 17k. Will also have been a lot of folk who had tickets missing. Said the very same across the tannoy - Doubt it's a tax dodge - That's something only new teams would consider, surely?
AberdeenAngus
Definitely over 17k there. 1600 empty seats in away section but only small pockets of unfilled seats elsewhere and a few singles - likely to be some season ticket holder seats nit filled too. Did the club not restate a couple of crowds last season ?
Gala Tartan Army (Borders)
I was told by a Dunfermline season ticket holder that they used to do this a few year ago, announce smaller attendances than was actually in ground. Not sure what reason was, maybe police/security costs. Not saying Aberdeen have done this on this occasion.
