bonny78
international football is always overlooked at this time of year. Don't say cause "it's always been like that" cause we thought that about the fixtures and they went ahead and changed them all to all days of the week. In the future we'll have international football for christmas!
jimstroma
Imagine having to tell the wife I won't be home for Xmas because Scotland are playing away!
1320lichtie
No. Not a chance. Friendlies are pish most of the year, I don't see why players should have to give up their Xmas with their families to fly around the world to play an international meaningless friendly infront of 10k fans at Hampden (if you're lucky) on Boxing Day. Robroysboy
A home game may be popular with the players based abroad ( english leagues included). But as a previous posters have lready stated 1. Away games would not be popular with the players And 2. Domestic leagues espicially english premier league is very congested at this time of year. So no chance of it happening.
