PASTA Mick
We need a big win tonight to have any chance of making the play-offs. 6 points and 17-goal swing needed in 2 matches. This is wrong. We need a win but head-to-head comes before goal difference. A win tonight and against Lux will see us in the play-offs if the Dutch beat Slovakia in their last match. BlueBonnetsowertheBorder
Anyone have a link to watch the game online? Also thanks lads for putting up the Squad, looking forward to Monday night now and seeing Gauld playing in the flesh!

ProudScot
No but Watt got punted for reason by celtic. I've watched him numerous times at youth level for celtic last season and season before and his attitude stinks. More yo being a football player than raw talent. I thought only 12 year old girls said Lol. Some talent is key though. Watt is borderline for the full squad, under 21s he should absolutely walk into. Stark is hopeless picking these players who will never develop into standout SPL players let alone potential internationals

Don't think even that be enough cause only the best 4 runner ups make it and we cant do any better than 13 points.

ProudScot
Watt is nowhere near full squad. Not even close. As I see it; 1) Fletcher 2) Naismith 3) Rhodes 4) McCormack (if on form) then Martin, May, Russell, Watt etc all around same level just depends who is on form etc. with Boyd, Maguire and that level of striker below those ones. So not that far away really
Squirrelhumper
Martin is way ahead of Watt, as is May. Add Griffiths too.

PASTA Mick
Perfect chance to get Stark to f*ck now surely PASTA Mick @PASTA_Mick 41s 5 wins out of 15 matches for @ScottishFA under-21's under Billy Stark. 3 of them were against Luxembourg. Please, get rid now! #STARKOUT

Tartan blood
Even with all the talented youths that Stark inexplicably left out, we still have one of the strongest group of u21s we've had in years. 5 or 6 of that first 11 could potentially be full internationals one day. Add in another 5 or 6 from the u19s and those that were excluded, and Stark STILL can't get results. Every age group from u14s upward all the way to the seniors have shown steady improvement in the last 5 years. So why isn't Stark getting results? Why is this guy's position untouchable? Every age group from u14s upward all the way to the seniors have shown steady improvement in the last 5 years. So why isn't Stark getting results? Why is this guy's position untouchable? Maybe he has incriminating evidence against the upper echelons of the SFA and he is blackmailing them to keep is job. Sorry, but I am struggling to think of any other, more plausible explanations for why he hasn't been given his jotters already. Billy Stark might be a nice guy and all but as a manager he is a disaster (at the level he is currently operating at anyway). Some of his squad selections beggar belief, such as his baffling preference for Hearts, Hibs and OF reserves ahead of age group eligible players who play regularly for their club sides. Whatever is being said in the dressing room clearly isn't working anymore either. Stuart Pearce got punted from the England U21 job and his sides regularly qualified for tournaments. Stark's greatest achievement so far is to get us to a play-off, against Iceland (arguably the weakest of all the possible opponents), but he even f*cked that up. This latest debacle must surely be the final straw. Edited September 4, 2014 by scotlad
