teecee-
Just an ordinary lad, grew up with partners son. They would take themselves away shooting and fishing all day. There is a sense of disbelief in our household, so sad.
Ex-Whitfield
Jeez, that is so sad - a tragedy. Rest in peace son.
stevo1609
What an awfully sickening tragedy this is. It is not right that anyone goes to a football match and for things like this to happen. Condolences to all of his family and friends - RIP.
TartanTeddy
I think a silence would be appropriate - and absolutely no doubts the English fans would fully respect it, and share in the sadness of such a dreadful loss at such a young age. Thoughts are with the family TT

adonisfaelivi
Jeezo. I've done nothing but moan about the turnstile congestion until I heard this. What a tragic event and I was probably on that stairwell just before it happened. Poor lad and tragic for his family. RIP.

Grianaig Jacobite
Very sad indeed but it could have been even worse if he had landed on top of someone, two people might have been killed. There needs to be some sort of mark of respect on Tuesday.

giblet
Absolutely horrendous to think of that Laddie enjoying a great game with his pals and the rest of us and then within a blink of an eye, gone. Absolutely should be a minutes silence. Thoughts with his friends and family.

irish
We're very saddened in Ireland by this awful news. One of our supporters died during EURO 2012 when it should have been one of the best experiences of his life going to see his country play at a major tournament with his friends. I think Scotland winning makes it all the more poignant. Ar dheis de go raibh a anam

Newcastle fans do it in the 17th (I think) every week for the fans that died in Malaysian air flight crash.
