Dillinger
Never been to Seville before. Any thoughts on where fans will congregate during the day on the Thurs and therefore where folk might set off for a march to the ground? wanderer
If you treat the area around the Cathedral as the heart of the city, and where most fans will gather on match day, its over 1 hours walk to the stadium from there
GroundsKeeper
Ted playing a gig match day, 12th of October 15:00 to 19:00. Spyro Music Calle Imagen, 5, 41003, Sevilla City Centre. 45 minutes walk to stadium. I imagine we could march from there ? B
GLOSTA
The march to the stadium in Alicante was long, and uphill most of the way. Edited October 1, 2023 by GLOSTA

John A Mackenzie
Alemeda de hercules is where most football fans gather. Oldest open space in Europe full of bars & restaurants.

Going by the forecast for Seville, being out in open space is maybe not the best idea during the day for pasty skinned Scots 😂

lyonhibs
Spanish brother in law recommends Plaza del Salvador - more central than Alemeda de Hercules so that's where we'll be starting, maybe heading to Alemeda de Hercules after we've quenched our thirst

Rich NATA
Day 4 and I've seen pharmacy time/temperature signs show 37.c and 39.c Doesn't feel as hot as Norway or Cyprus though.

Jamessm238
Alamada de Hercules been designated as official meeting point now and a planned walk to the stadium leaves at 6pm. Seems a bit early but won’t be too bad with cans for the walk

J Funniest memory with drink and Scotland games was in Amsterdam where we sold shops out of cans, bottles etc. Folk resorted to buying full kegs, cue sights of drunk Scots trying to work out how to get in to the things and how to drink from them 🤣

All Blues
A march to the ground is brilliant but a 6pm departure seems far too early. Will they sell beer in the ground?
Andy McKean
Just don't approach the Spanish polis. They're putting 450 riot police in with shields and batons, god knows why. The locals know it's best to absolutely avoid them as they're violent and will hit out with no justification.
