Who would they replace in the Celtic team?

Nah, don't think so. McLean has potential but it'd be hard to argue that he's in better form than Armstrong.

Jack could be better than Biton IMO but not much in that one.

With Tierney at left-back, it'd be very difficult to argue a case for Shinnie or Considine being anything more than good back-ups.

Celtic are stronger than Aberdeen is every position except right-back IMO (unless you were to put Hayes on the right, as he's better than Forrest IMO), that's why they're 22 points ahead.

None of those would get near the Celtic team.

James Forrest gets a game every week and Callum McGregor does every 2nd week...

None would be first pick but every one of them would be squad players who play 10+ games a season.

Personally think Callum Mcgregor is a much better central midfielder player and footballer than James Forrest is a winger. Woudl eb happy to see McGregor in the Scotland squad he's already played over 30 times this season.

Agree about the Dons players and wouldn't be stunned to see Ryan Jack at one of the old firm teams next season given he is out of contract this summer.

Lolz. You say "one of the old firm teams" as if it'd be a step up.

"One of the old firm teams" are 12 points behind his current team.

They don't need to be able to get near the team for Celtic to sign their opponents best players.

Christie, GMS, Ciftci, Allan just off the top of my head.

Both old firm teams would probably triple his wages

1. We were talking about the ability of players, not finance.

2. If money was Jack's main priority, he sure as feck wouldn't be joining Rangers.

It's funny how little you know about Scottish football, yet you still always think you know all about it.

Yes and he's good enough to join a club that will pay him more ;)

Money is every footballers main priority, the same as the rest of us.

Ah the 'you don't know anything about football' adage; You enjoy telling people how little they know & yet you seem only concerned with one club. Our league has one good club, the rest are poor & the bottom half are very poor. At the end of the season Celtic will win the league by a mile with Aberdeen & Rangers 30 points behind, with little seperating them. Finishing as the best poor team 30 points behind the team who has won a poor league is no achievement.

Additionally if you think that Ryan Jack would turn down an offer of higher wages at Rangers you're in denial.

I could be in a job where i make more money than i do now. Money is not everyone's main priority.

You do know hee haw about Scottish football. You demonstrate it time and again. The other week you were talking about Danny Wilson for Scotland FFS

You know plenty about the Englich Championship though, i'll give you that :ok:

1. Aberdeen are currently 4 wins, plus goal difference above Rangers. That's not "little".

2. You'll need to expand on "poor". Poor in comparison to what? The EPL, where TV rights ensure astronomical funds ensure teams can spunk cash on over rated players? You do realise that folk like you, who contribute nothing to Scottish football and constantly slag it off are part of the problem?

As i've said, if his main motivation was to maximise income, he'd have better offers than Rangers. I've not once said he'd "turn down Rangers".

Callum McGregor is a footballer?  Should play in central midfield?  What sport is it you watch?

wouldnt be suprised at all to see him end up there, otherwise its likes of MK Dons.

If Jack had the choice of Rangers or somewhere south on similar cash then he'd obviously head to England given the ill-feeling it would cause.

Shinnie is Rangers-daft though and all that was in his head when he was young was Rangers so would interesting if they came in for him.
