:) So, despite being on this board a lot less because it has a distinctly toxic atmosphere since the format change,,,,(co-incidence ?) , I will venture above the parapet to be told to fvck off to mums net with a cooking thread.

Pork leg with crackling.....looking fantastic - let it cook until the end as is, or remove the crackling at some point in the cooking time ? :cheers3:

Bit of a boring dinner too.

Roast chicken with garlic and herbs stuffed under the skin, roasties in duck fat, brussels and panchetta, Yorkshire puds, mashed carrot and turnip and a gravy with a hint of soya.

That crackling was amazing if I say so myself. AND we went out to the road to see Santa and his elves etc........he looked a bit different from his persona at the Grotto in Broughty Ferry today..........in fact he was a grumpy old so and so who just wanted to get away home :lol: worst 2 quid I ever spent but the kids were happy outside in their jammas so all is good.:wub:
