Robroysboy
Spinning wheel, larkhall now called the music room. Snake bite, half lager and half cider with blackcurrant. The toilet span round and I spewed my load. The memories. Lol
giblet
the long gone but fondly remembered roadhouse in Balerno called the Kestrel Hotel. Celebrated up there after our Higher results. £0.86 a pint. Happy, happy days.
Bristol Killie
Burlington Berties in Killie after the Friday night game against Hibs in 96. Thought we were great so thought we would get off the bus early in Mauchline and go into the KSC on the way back. Got turned away by the bouncers and had to walk 2 miles home in the dark. Some game that one.

Aged 15 & wearing a school tie - tried it on for a round of proper drinks and not an eyelid was batted - fkin disgraceful! refereeing in that game was the fckin disgraceful thing

Mox
O'Malleys in East Kilbride about 4 weeks before my 18th. I can still remember wearing a pair of black suit trousers, horrific black shoes and a black Jumper, all borrowed from my old man. I must have looked like an absolute roaster. I remember it when it didn't have a ladies' karzi. Back in the day when Flora and I would go in Jim Baxter and William McIlvanney would often be propping up the bar. Sweeney's is disappointing - I was never in it when it was the Bay Horse but I was expecting something a bit swankier (not that I like swanky pubs!). The southside is great for spotting old punters having a beer. Jack McLean and Gerry McNee are in Heraghtys every week nursing a Guinness. Some atmosphere that night, missed two goals queuing for a pie under the main stand, Paul Wright's screamer being one of them.
