  2. Marc Leonard could join Mac Johnstone at Sturm Graz as they are latest side after him, Legia Warsaw and Championship sides also.
  3. I notice Max Johnston got another 5 mins plus added time on Sunday for Sturm Graz. Unfortunately they drew whilst Salzburg won so takes it to the last day. If Graz can match or better Salzburg's result then Max Johnston will have won a league and cup double in his first season there, albeit mostly from the bench
  4. Project Fear returns. Not 'Look our record, how we've made the UK a happier, healthier, more prosperous place' but 'It'll be even worse without us'.
  5. When is Glasgow ever "carnage" for a Scotland game? Been some huge games over the years and i can't remember the city centre being carnage outside England games and the Italy home game in 2007 when there was a bit of bother with pissheads in the town.
  6. Precisely this. The MLS is a league where once decent or very good footballers go for one last hurrah before retirement in my opinion. For evidence of that look to the Euro contenders squads. How many of them ply their trade in the MLS? Are there any? Think back to Johnny Russell too. His career was on the wane and had no prospect of furthering his international career. He moved to the MLS and rejuvenated his career and ended up gaining more Scotland caps. Was this an upshoot in form or merely enhanced stats as he was playing in a weaker league against weaker players. I say the latter. People often say what about Hendry in the Saudi league then? Big difference is he has proven himself at international level for a few years now which Gauld and Morgan have not. Also as Dezmondo says who do they replace in the squad? McGinn, McGregor, Gilmour, McTominay and Christie are nailed on as is Armstrong if fit and McLean too is not going to be dropped. To throw in two unproven players not having played at,the highest level at club or international level is, in my eyes, anact of desperation this late on.
  7. Bologna and Lewis Ferguson have had an excellent season. Such a shame Ferguson sustained that bad injury. Bologna boss Thiago Motta is this season's sought after manager. Potentially a deal has already been done for him to take over at Juventus when Allegri steps away at the end of this season, although nothing confirmed. For that reason alone though many of Bologna's best performing players, Ferguson included, are being linked to Juventus. Napoli are another club that I have heard linked with Ferguson although they are in turmoil and needing to appoint a permanent manager. Have heard it will be Conte but who knows.
  8. agreed, Ferguson needs to be telling him to go there. Wherever he does go, because he's out of contract it's said the development fee will only be about ยฃ500k which is a steal really in this market for a promising young player
  9. I have been to a few games myself and the standard was surprisingly poor but that was Orlando City who were near the bottom of the league at the time. No chance they are any worse or on par with lower scottish championship teams though and would say 3/4 of their teams would be competing with Celtic and Rangers to win the Scottish Premiership. The league will only get stronger as their business model has transformed from buying megastars on big salaries at the end of their careers to developing homegrown and young south american players mainly. (Barring Messi obviously). In time, they will have a much stronger league than it is IMO. When you watch a lot of Gauld and Morgan's goals in the MLS, the defending is awful in a lot of the videos so it's very hard to guage how well they would do for Scotland but I agree in that they should of been given more of a chance for us at least in the dead rubbers or friendly games but I think its too late now as they're probably not too interested and would rather have that time to enjoy themselves in 'Merica and Canadia
  10. Anyone got anything booked or looked into pubs through the day on match day before we head to ground? Two of us flying in Thursday night so be in city 11ish for beer ๐Ÿ‘๐Ÿบ๐Ÿด๓ ง๓ ข๓ ณ๓ ฃ๓ ด๓ ฟ
  11. Today
  12. No tickets, going for atmosphere although hoping I might get a ticket, leaving Glasgow on 12th, ferry to Calais, driving to Bruges for 1 night , 2 nights in Augsburg, 2 nights in Koblenz, the 3 nights in Aachen, stomach turning as I am typing, surely we will get out of the group stage at last ๐Ÿ™
  13. I have been to a few Scotland games home and away. Paris comes to mind when the march to the stadium for the 1-0 win. Plenty of drinking and pissing in public spaces but I have never felt we were in danger of causing massive public disturbance on the scale of the Euro final. That said I do think the final was played in exceptional times. Off the back of COVID and also the fact it was known that there was 23000 empty seats in the stadium due to social distancing. I think the police expected fans to congregate around the stadium at 3pm when if fact they were there in numbers 5 hours earlier and getting hammered.
  14. Could end up being like Northern Ireland without the kneecappings
  15. It's the worst man U team since football began. IE when the premier league started. Football didn't exist before then.....
  16. I used to think this, but having been over to the US recently and watched a couple of games, I can confirm that the standard is absolutely dire! I have no doubt the decent teams in the MLS are the level of high end Scottish Championship/low level premiership. I guess Clarke knows Gauld is a good player but thinks: 1 - it's too much of a risk trying him given he's not getting tested at a level worthy of international selection. 2 - we've plenty of squad depth in midfield anyway. Personally, I'd have given him a shot but I can't blame Clarke in his thinking.
  17. I see there's a link to the Berlin emission stickers, you got a link to the Munich one, or as the last poster said is it one sticker for all Germany?
  18. Campervanning round Germany 2024

  19. Big Olympic year coming up. Scottish athletes have done really well in recent years, let's hope it can continue. The likes of Reekie, Muir, McColgan, Kerr, Wightman should all be in the GB and N.I team, injury permitting.
