jenblueeyes
I'm outside all the time walking or (God forbid) running and it was the worst rain I have ever seen in my life. Various streets in Bothwell unaccessible because of flooding and the road between Uddingston and Bothwell under water just up from the entrance to the golf course. Blimey - I drove along there around 2 pm yesterday and it was fine. Better not to my mate in Bothwell as she's away on holiday and waiting on getting her roof replaced. She'd be freaking out! Orraloon
Driving about the Lakes today was hell. What do you expect if you try to drive on lakes? Should've taken a boat.

I don't think it ever had any meteorological basis.

Orraloon
What was storm B & C named? Kinda proves the point I suppose. You and I, and i'm guessing many others, never even noticed them.

scottincarlisle
just seen on the news about the flooding in Carlisle hope your hoose is ok Yes we are ok. The house lost its bay window flashing so the front room got a soaking. Bit of a bulge in ceiling. Insurance going to stump up. No landline or wifi since Sat. Logging in to next doors cable. Definitely worse than 2005.
