Hampden View
I know little about Rugby but the vibes appear to be we have a better than decent chance of doing the business and with 7 days rest and a fully fit squad you don't need to have been brought up in The Borders to know that's good :-)

Should have too much for them (as long as whoever is replacing Alesana Tuilagi isn't even bigger than him!). Then it's 8 days' rest I think for the quarters. Come on Wales! Pool Q
Team pretty much picked itself with Hardie, Russell and Bennett available. Maybe only discussion was Strauss or Wilson to start. We will have to play pretty badly to have any problems.

Ally Bongo
So what do Scotland need to do to it up ? Is a win all we need or do we need a bonus point if Japan get one too ?
Bristolhibby
So what do Scotland need to do to it up ? Is a win all we need or do we need a bonus point if Japan get one too ? Nope, a straight win and we are through. We'd be on 14 and if Japan win with a BP the most they can get is 13. Win and we are through. Even if we lose. Japan would still need to win against the USA. northernscum
Aye, you are probably right. I don't go in for all the intricacies of the sport, so to my untrained eye, this is very entertaining. Looks like we need yet another 2nd half improvement to get over the line. (so to speak)
