kmcca5
We are due a new home top and training gear in November as far as I know. Why then have JD sports only reduced the price on some of our current gear? The Away top and some other bits have had a reduction but not on all our gear like they did months prior to Wales and Northern Ireland bringing their new kits out? Are they ripping us off some more? Graham of Montrose
I have been trying to get the current home top in XL since a couple of weeks pre-Dublin. I have checked time and time again with no joy. I e-mailed JD Sports head office trying to get one. I got a reply saying that none were available and it would be October before they would be back in stock. They did say that this has been one of the best selling Scotland tops they have had but that they are not getting enough supplies from the manufacturer (Adidas) No doubt the sweat shops of the sub continent are busy punting out Chelsea and Man United strips to bother about Scotland ones. Ormond
They need to get some better training top/polo top stuff. This time around the stuff was as bland as heck.

McTeeko
Totally agree. The range of merchandise is appalling. Yup, colour schemes are nonsense - navy blue home top with silver and dark red trim, white away top with pink and yellow and the training range includes a bowfing tomato red colour with navy and silvery/gold trim. Then add the Vauxhall sponsorship onto it all
stactuso85
It's mostly Real Madrid and Barcelona strips that the kids are wearing round where I live. Sad times. At least the SKY TV League isn't getting the money I suppose.

Strachan is on the verge of putting Scotland back on the international map.

Alot more kids wearing Scotland tops than Auld Firm tops nowadays. On holiday this year, I saw 2 or 3 Rangers/ Celtic tops and easily over 20 Scotland tops. Encouraging jim, I have seen an increase aswell but to take us to the next level we need to qualify for this tournament. 4 points from games in September would set us up nicely for October games
Bristolhibby
My lads have both the Scotland home and away strips. In fact my eldest was wearing his away strip to footie training this evening. Pleasing considering we live in England. J

Grantyboy1983
Do members of the SSC still get 15% discount on all official Scotland merchandise? How do I go about it if i were to order something online? Or is it in store only?
DaveyDenoon
Do members of the SSC still get 15% discount on all official Scotland merchandise? How do I go about it if i were to order something online? Or is it in store only? In store only unfortunately. As I live in South Wales I have to get my brother to get me stuff in store and send it down. JD sports do a collect in store where, in theory, I could order online and pick it up in store but unlike most 'click and collect' services you have to pay for it when ordering so again can't actually get your discount. JD sports really are in the dark ages. Not only can you not get your discount online but you can't even use their gift cards online! I have one from ages ago which I wanted to use to buy Scotland stuff but can't use it online and can't use it in store as they don't stock Scotland kit down here. Frustrating. Got the away shirt but had to pay full price. Double frustrating. It's high time the SFA binned this exclusivity deal with JD sports and made merchandise more available by allowing a wider range of outlets to sell it. We might also see a bit of competition price wise again instead of the massive hike in replica shirt prices caused by this cartel.

blackcountry jock
If you phoned them they will process your order and give you the discount that's what I do I live Birmingham and have never had a problem it's a very simple easy process when I have done it
Grantyboy1983
Have been informed i can get local store to order item in for me and can use SSC card to apply discount. Will give it a try and see how it goes.

But you'd think they would build an online platform that could handle this. They surely make enough money off the SFA to at least be able to validate SSC memberships etc

Spoke to a customer service advisor online who told me i could get local store to order item in, told me i could only use SSC card in store for discount. TartanSpice
I ordered online once as they didn't have stuff in store. As ordering online I couldn't get the discount. However, the folk in the store said that if I brought my order back in and returned the items to them I'd get a refund. I could then show them my SSC card and immediately buy my stuff back at the discounted rate as they now had the items in stock. Customer service at its finest. notoriousrab1982
Hi, I found this thread and signed up on the forum. I've been trying to get ahold of a Scotland top in USA - I see since JD Sports are the exclusive retailer, the usual websites in USA don't stock them. I'm looking for an XL, and I emailed JD Sports about it and basically got a response saying "we don't have them and don't know when we will get them in again" WTF. I emailed into the SFA and didn't hear anything back asking if there was a supply chain problem or something. Didn't hear anything back. I wasn't sure if you just couldn't buy them online on their website, but they actually existed in stores. Being in USA, I can't exactly pop down to my local JD Sports. Does anyone know if this is likely to get resolved? Rab, McKinney, Texas

There should be a new home to coming out soon so my advise would be either wait for that to come out or try ebay for the home top. If you are signed up for eBay, when the new top comes out message me on here and I will try and get one and send it to you if you are happy to cover the delivery costs etc. You can sort it out through eBay or pay pal with me. I hope this helps. Edited September 8, 2015 by kmcca5
notoriousrab1982
Thanks kmcca5. I'll just wait for the new one I think now - hope it's a good design. I'll see if I can get it online when it comes out, and I'll hit you up if I can't. Cheers
