Flora MaDonald
How the hell do you make these cheese sauce things? Milk?
killiefaetheferry
One would make a roux, gradually add warmed mlk and grated pecorino cheese. Use a beurre manie to thicken if required, season and et voila ! Or empty the packet into a half pint of milk, yes.

dandydunn
Put milk and sauce in a pan. Heat, add grated cheese and stir, wait for a ####in eternity for it to become a sauce. Pour it into the pre boiled macaroni. Mix it. Add nothing else to the situation (chips are acceptable). Put on plate. Eat. It probably only thickened because you boiled the milk off.
Orraloon
Nope had to be English I'm afraid. Don't know why. I use wholegrain mustard, any nationality, you can even use black if you want. Nae need for racism in cheese sauce.

Others are completely correct...melt butter, add flour then slowly add milk and cheese with some English Mustard (has to be the greatest thing to come out of England)

Flure
Tin of tomatoes, one chopped onion, some cloves of garlic (crushed) and a half of a chorizo sausage (sliced). Cook slowly until the onions are cooked then blitz with a hand blender. Add freshly cooked (fresh?) pasta. Serve with freshly baked bread and some Sancerre Rouge. The Kilmarnock bit I'd say.
