Scunnered
No. I've been talking about this since on here since September. Some folk understood, some daft cünts thought by "SLP" I meant Scottish Labour Party... I let them.
iainmac1
Doesn't seem much more than a ssp rebrand. How many non ssp will be involved? No solidarity, trade unionist alliance, greens.

northernscum
Sounds a wee bit half baked to be honest. The idea behind it is fine, but by the sounds of it they will be leaving just as many "progressives" on the outside than they will have on board. I will be interested to see how things progress over the next few months though.

This is Shafi and Kitty Kat Boyds baby, both not SSP, if they've any sense they'll keep Colin Fox away from the media.

Scunnered
Don't know how effective another socialist party would be Not very I don't think. Nationalism rules the waves at the moment. United Left is also a shite name... Given how split the left is on independence

Scunnered
Becoming more and more like something from Life of Brian. It's not really is it? There absolutely does need to be a challenge to the left of the SNP and a coalition is the logical way to do so. The SNP are not welcoming to socialists and any attempt to establish a left group within the party is quickly closed down by leadership.
