podgers1903
The Northern Irish kit is actually quite smart
Goozay
0-0
This. I'd obviously prefer it if was 4-0 to us but Hampden friendlies have in the past been remarkably drab affairs.
John_B81
Think we'll win 1-0, don't see it being a thriller. Team prediction Gordon Hutton, Martin, Greer, Forsyth Fletcher, Brown Russell, Naismith, Anya Rhodes A mix of our strongest team and one or two others looking for extra experience. albathebrave
NI have a decent first team but the squad is quite poor. If they make mass changes, we could end up getting a few late goals. I'll go for a 3-1 win. 3-1 for me too.
JagDude
Just been listening to WGS press conference, he says he wants to give everyone in the squad game time over the two games. For that reason I think he'll start Mcgregor Hutton Greer Martin Roberston Brown Morrison Ritchie Maloney Anya Fletcher With Mcgregor, Greer, morrison, maloney, ritchie and fletcher coming off at some point. 2-1 scotland. Davied14
McGregor and Gordon a half each tonight, Marshall 90mins on Sunday. That's what I'd do too.
adamntg
I'd get Gordon in the goals. We have three good goalkeepers, but only one of them is borderline world class.
wanderer
McGregor and Gordon a half each tonight, Marshall 90mins on Sunday. Agree with that. Marshall not done much wrong in the qualifiers to be dropped, so no 1 jersey for that is his until Strachan feels time for a change. Other two will get a run out tonight
ProudScot
Gordon Hutton Martin Berra Robertson Morrison Fletcher Ritchie Maloney Anya May Solid 2-0 against a weakened NI team who rest players for their important qualifier at the weekend. May!?

JagDude
SCOTLAND | Gordon, Whittaker, Forsyth, Greer, Martin, McArthur, D.Fletcher, Ritchie, S.Fletcher, Maloney, Anya SUBS | McGregor, Marshall, Russell, Brown, Naismith, May, Robertson, Rhodes, Berra, Hutton, Bannan, Reynolds, Morrison, Forrest Not the team i would have picked but I can see the sense behind it. Hutton not playing is strange but it really shows the strength in depth we have. Not ideal but happy enough.
weekevie04
Northern Ireland team to face Scotland: McGovern, D Lafferty, J Evans, Baird, Dallas, Reeves, Norwood, McNair, Hughes, Magennis, Grigg
fringo
Can't believe Robertson isn't starting ? He's our best full-back but barely played for Scotland and could do with as much experience as possible.
healyhattrick
Northern Ireland team to face Scotland: McGovern, D Lafferty, J Evans, Baird, Dallas, Reeves, Norwood, McNair, Hughes, Magennis, Grigg A good chunk of what might be our starting XI on Sunday not starting. ...can't say I'm too disappointed with that. I'll revise my prediction and say....4-0 Scotland.

(Bit like me really). What's happened to McGinn. Niall McGinn. I just don't (really) understand.
