northernscum
did we not score 6 that night? Aye 6-1. I remember thinking at the time that it was a fantastic result even though it was a friendly. Yugoslavia were a pretty decent outfit around then. Tartan Eagle
England in 1970 - south stand with my old man. There have been 3 0-0 draws in the history of the game, and I got one of them for my first game. 137,000 - awesome, hooked for life
Charlie Endell
Phuqqing part-timerI'm not even part-time at the moment. However, I should point out that I've been to more Scotland away games than you. Edited October 18, 2014 by Charlie Endell
Robroysboy
1986, auld enemy at Hampden rous cup. I was 11 and attended with my dad and his two brothers. One of my uncles was based in kent and would shout "come on England" much to the annoyance of the home crowd. I can remember monkey noiseys ( politically incorrect now) but when John Barnes came on it seemed quite loud. I don't know if it was socially acceptable then ? I also remember Richard Gouths headed goal to win it late on. That was me hooked. Looking forward to taking my son for his first game at Hampden. Orraloon
Silverbear did you get to see Denis Law play for Scotland my old man says he's one of the best you've ever produced. I saw Denis Law play. Same game as Flicktokick mentioned. His last game at Hampden was my first. He wasn't that great that day but he was past his best by that time. It would be like trying to judge Roy Keane after he signed for Celtic. Edited October 18, 2014 by Orraloon

Your second point is bang on. Absolutely shocking in hindsight, I was standing in front of my old man and turned round to say I thought it was out of order...and he was bloody doing it too! Jacobite Piper
Scotland v England, Hampden 1989. Canna say it was a great experience, we lost 2-0 then ended up in the middle of a rammy wi the Guffs ootside Hampden after the game & got knocked oot by a Police Horse

McToot
First game was 1998. Pre world cup '98 warm up v Finland at Easter Road. 1-1. Jackson shinned one in from a few inches out. Sure we got the tix trough radio forth who were selling them for ÂŁ3 for kids the day of the game. Didn't go again till Latvia 2001 and got the bug then. With fixtures as they are, Gibraltar away would be game 100. Great way to celebrate that by qualifying. Although I'm sure we'll have another game in March/June so we'll just have to qualify a game or two earlier!
