When we go up to Aberdeen on bus, we usually stop just outside Aberdeen. If we're getting train up we usually just go to a pub near the train station then get a taxi. dandydunn
I honestly have no idea where to recommend. Maybe best to try Stonehaven or something, with all due respect, a bus full of Hibs fans wont always be welcomed just turning up somewhere in the city centre and you’ll need somewhere decent to park the bus. Google pubs in Stonehaven, newtonhill or portlethen, they may have an area you can go into and it’s not far to Aberdeen from there. What size is the bus? Had a scout and murdos bar looked perfect for parking. Last time we where up we went to a boozer just off union street and never had any bother but was murder for parking . Full sized coach

Just read again, you said market bar, not market street, they probably were t at the game either, no one was 😬 That’s where @WCTA was having a dance off last year with his new pals. My priorities are a little different these days on a football trip 🙄. Cheerz don’t allow football colours, I got thrown out for having a red Fred Perry jacket on once as they assumed I was at the football that day 😂

The academy’s have all went downhill in Aberdeen recently, the effects of mild poverty, drug/alcohol abuse, funding cuts and kids/parents nowadays not really giving a fuck about their futures as they know they’ll get a state handout when they leave school anyway. You’re right about the summerhill lodge, although unique isnt the word I would use, I assume the place fell silent the first time you walked into it? 🤣
