Anyone else arriving Saturday morning & heading down to Ljubljana during the afternoon? Flying back the Tuesday so an overnight on the Monday in Venice. Anyone ever been? Places to go/avoid etc?
RDFH64 Posted September 28, 2017 Posted September 28, 2017 Hotels in Venice can be expensive, we stayed at the Best Western hotel Bologna across from Mestre train station, think train was a couple of euro's and only takes 10 minutes to Venice.

Places to go/avoid etc? 2 of us got flight from Leeds Saturday morning very cheap but flying back from Venice still very cheap on the Monday to East Midlands as for a wee bit extra there was direct flight back to Edinburgh from there. Only worry, the flights haven't been pulled by that well known cheap airline as yet. On the flixbus from Venice to Ljubljana. Takes just under 3 hours.
