  1. Probably the best way to do it, but its UEFA that have decided, and looks like they are applying all the same %'s to the split of tickets, just obviously based on the new capacities. We were entitled to 16%, and all the suggestions seems to be we are recieving the 16%.... obviously thats just 16% of 12k now instead of the 52. Its uefa's tournament, so well within their rights to chose how they divvy the tournament up. They also have commitments to sponsors, UEFA partners, and fans that they have sold directly to 2 years back.
  2. So you are suggesting its fair that those of us that haven't missed a game for X number of years, only get to go to one of the 3 games, becuase folk that haven't been as interested now feel they deserve a ticket as well? Cheers
  3. I thought Tel Aviv was a fantastic city. The people couldn't have been more friendly or welcoming. so keen to chat, and some seem truly amazed we were visiting their country just for the football. It wasn''t the cheapest, but if you hunted around and went a few streets back a cheap night could be had.
  4. Hi Allan, I was handed your wallet and have it here with me. Had arranged to hand it in to SSC tomorrow so they could send it back to you. - I've PM'd you Graeme
  5. The DTA has seats available for the Costa Rica match. Bus leaves at 5.30 from the Lizzie. If anyone is interested drop me a message Cheers. G
  6. Was extremely disappointed with the small section of locals who felt it justified to boo Ryan Jack. However that will not be the reason that Aberdeen doesn't get another national match - have they not already said that Aberdeen wont get another international now until they upgrade the ground?
  7. Agree - thought he played extremely well, and for a lad the age of 20, led the team well. Mcginn was the other stand out for me. Some of his passing was excellent.
  8. Don't particularly mind the squad - good to see some fresh faces in there and give a few of these guys a try.
  9. The Dunfermline Tartan Army are running a coach to Aberdeen for the Netherlands match, leaving at 4pm and returning directly after the match. Seats available to anyone wishing to travel - Please PM me if you would like seats
  10. I hope the SFA stick out a vacancy and take applications from European managers, because the more I look at the list I get more and more disheartened with the names there! There are plenty of good European managers that may want a stab at national management, either because its the right time in their career or to put themselves in the window. Lets face it - a young foreign manager who is perhaps out of work that could do a decent job for us, would probably put themselves out there for a future EPL job. The problem clearly would be our budget, but just having a quick search online looking at managers that left their club jobs In the summer, and are still out of work, theres a few I would love to get involved with the national team. Klinsman for me would be an amazing appointment, but I simply don't think the SFA could afford him... Guys like Thomas Tuchel and Paolo Sousa (left Dormund and Fiorentina over the summer) will be nobodd's radar, but both young coaches who could bring something totally different to the set up, and yes - might only be one campaign appointments, but it would be good to try something new. From the list of older guys - Martin Jol maybe or Jaunde Ramos? Both did fairly well down with Spurs. Maybe we don't even need someone who has managed in the UK, as longs someone as part of the backroom team have? Felix Magath was very well thought of in Germany but didn't do particularly well at Fulham, Michel Preudhomme did a good job over in Belgium, Berndt Schuster has worked across 3 or 4 countries. Theres plenty folk out there - I just hope that the SFA organise a full and widespread application and interview process!
  11. Wen;t to Ascot to see Frankel years back - in the cheap seats you are awfy low down - standing on the rail, you feel like you are below the surface, and the grandstands are a fair bit back - not my fav. Love Cheltenham, and great to watch races from different aspects of the course - like that you can stand at the winning post, and look right down the track. Roared home the great Sprinter Sacre from there a few years ago and was incredible.
  12. I don't think they have a leg to stand on with this specific incident, but I don't get how nobody else has had bans thrown at them as well - the guy that broke the Rangers boys nose should have equally been banned and Louis Moult was lucky to avoid further action as well.
  13. He was brutal at Raith. took us from 6th to 9th to relegation in the playoffs. He didn't have a clue on his best team, played players out of position, and couldn't get the players up for the big matches at the end of the season. He made a total arse of it.
  14. Absolutely! Scotlands top scorer #LewisVaughanGoalMachine
  15. Certainly plenty names being mentioned with this, and the Leicester job. West Ham canny be far away from sacking Bilic either.... Sean Dyche prob deserves a shot at one of the bigger jobs - he's done a fantastic job with Burnley.
