  1. Past hour
  2. Some cracking designs. Quite tempted to order 1 or 2 to take with me to Germany.
  3. McGinn and Villa knocked out of the semi final. It would've been nice for McGinn to win a major trophy, but it's equally nice that he plays one less match. He's not injured. Yay!
  4. Just seen a Ryanair flight on the 13th of June (day before Germany game) for £141 direct from Edinburgh to memmingen. Great option for anyone still looking to head over. Only 1 hour on a bus from the airport direct into Munich.
  5. Yeah. Forgot about Lewis. The White one is a weird one. By all accounts he's a top professional, but he seems kinda thin skinned. He was yelled at by Steve Round and he took a huff. England are light in midfield, so I can see Gray playing in midfield for them.
  6. They have also have Ben White (who doesn’t seem to like Southgate to be fair), Rico Lewis (19) and Archie Gray (18) too. one of Gray or Livramento would be good!
  7. There’s still another month to go and two potential friendly matches. I wouldn’t count him out based on his club manager’s comments.
  8. Agreed. He was never that great for us, certainly in defence. You feel like he had everything to become a top player but I worry he's missed vital stages in his development now. Needs to go to Italy as that seems to work wonders.
  9. You would think Ralston as he's done OK before but he isn't getting a game for Celtic so probably McCrorie. Things could be worse.
  10. My comparison is conservative compared to some people's. Someone called him a Messi regen. https://www.footballscotland.co.uk/spfl/other-football/liverpool-fans-run-out-ben-27444202 He's also been compared to Michael Owen, which Is fairer.
  11. Today
  12. Have you seen Doak? He's rapid, he is forever running at players, he has super fast feet and he glides past players like they aren't there. Apart from that, he's nothing like him.
  13. Livramento will be England's back up right back after Euro 24. Walker and Trippier will retire. Trent is used in midfield for England. That only leaves Reece James and Livramento. The loss of Hickey is massive. Hopefully he'll be able to return, and use the friendlies to get a bit of sharpness back, but I doubt it. If Hickey doesn't make it then Steve Clarke has to get creative. It's either Porteous, Ralston, Armstrong (as much as I hate to say it.), Christie, McCrorie or McLean. I don't care if some of them are left footed. Needs must.
  14. How's he a throwback to the likes of Jimmy Johnstone?
  15. FFS… the Greens. Far too much airtime for wee dicks that got a tiny percentage of the vote. I have had enough listening to bleAting on about LGBTQ rights (still no idea what the queers are) - they have plenty rights. I’m not interested in the slightest 8n hearing any more about it. Far far bigger issues.
  16. When exactly was he in form. Has to be the most overrated player on here.
  17. The chances of Hickey coming back into our team after 8 months without kicking a ball was always pie in the sky.Let's be honest even if he was anywhere near fit there is no way his first games after 8 months without kicking a ball in anger would be in the euros. It wouldn't even be fair to him to expect any sort of performance.Big miss but somebody else will have the chance to step up and put in a good performance.
  18. This I want them to be asking this time and time again at PMQ's until we get an answer. Regardless of the protocols, and even if it means we're asked to leave the commons. All whilst the world watch
  19. All this will be old news and irrelevant come the time of the election. Last night I watched John McTernan sitting with a wry smile when your point was put to him by Kirsty Wark. He knows that what 'punches through' is another Tory jumping ship to Labour. Only us political anoraks understand the true meaning of it To paraphrase the old adage: Political parties don't win elections. Governments lose them. Labour will win by default.
  20. Ticombo has plenty tickets but you are looking like 400 Euro with fees
  21. mates paid 100 GBP for the Morocco game at France98. Norway tickets were like Hens teeth but I had that and the Morocco game via the Travel Club.
  22. Ralston and McRorie should be given a fair crack in the friendlies (not that they will teach us much), if they fail to inspire confidence then we should look to fill the RWB position with a midfielder - Armstrong standing out as the strongest candidate due to his experience, and Fraser as an outsider due to his past arseholery
  23. Think Ross Mcrorie will have to step up to the plate. Least he’s playing at a decent level in that position every week just now.
  24. It must have been a hamstring tear for it to take so long though I'd be curious about the 'setback' he suffered. There is absolutely no way Clarke is going to pick him.
  25. When the Chair of the Labour Party says a right wing Tory MP is 'a good, natural fit', when Starmer says Labour is the Party of English patriotism, when Lammy describes Thatcher as 'visionary'...It would certainly put me off if I still voted Labour!
