Thatβs easily fixed by limiting everyone to first squads of say 20 players over 21 years old. As many youngsters as they like. Minimum six Scots in starting line-ups; nine altogether.

Thatβs a great title win and all credit goes to the manager. The board can get tae fuck, they have gotten away with murder for the last 3 years. Itβll be interesting to see if Rodgers has forced a change of thinking in the summer. Lovely way to wrap it up smashing that mob in their ain midden! Not that I have anything in particular against them but they have given us a lot of bother this season. -

No, we're a day closer. We will get there, maybe not as fast as we'd hoped but we will get there. -
Tbh given how awful we were in the last friendly, you can understand people not bothering. Having said that I'll be there!

That's debatable. For instance, there was the small matter of a certain war that we got sooked into as a result of the union of the crowns, as well as a few other things that were arguably to Scotland's detriment. For me, it was the beginning of the end. Anyway, I am not quite sure what kind of union Roddick is suggesting. Post-independence, we'd obviously still occupy the same landmass as rUK, so it's reasonable that some kind of collaborative agreements are put in place where we have common interests, but any kind of political union can get tae. I don't want London having any direct influence in or on our country. Sadly, all this chat is probably academic, as independence currently looks as far away as it has in a long time. -
I would say given it's a Friday night and the send off game, and the fact it's on the package that many have bought, the crowd to be at or approaching 40k

Fireworks going off in Motherwell because a Glasgow team won the league. It's all about getting it right up the other lot. Now that kinda sums up all that is wrong in 'Scottish' football. -

Gilmour subbed off after 70 minutes. He isn't injured. He rarely finished a match. His average per 90 minutes is 73 minutes. Played well. Typical Gilmour performance.

Some of the fringe players might want to prove themselves worthy of a place in the squad or starting line up. Plus we will want a morale boosting win considering our poor form recently.

Maybe, but got a feeling 40000 might be the best we will get.Know it's being sold as a send off but friendlies aren't high up in a lot of fans priorities.Understandably to be fair.Been to so many dire and boring friendlies over the years.
-
Circumstances yes but friendlies hardly ever bring in a big crowd never mind a sell out unless itβs against someone like England. Plus I imagine a lot of folk will be wanting to keep their cash free for Germany. Game will be played at a testimonial pace as none of our players will be wanting to get hurt/tweak something with 7 days to go till the big one.
-
Can't see Finland bringing too many for a friendly unless they are looking for a cheap weekends drinking. They are probably scunnered after losing the play off game to Wales.

My flight doesnβt open its check in until another 28 days. Although Iβll probably need to check in at the airport itself rather than online/app as going to be taking a checked luggage case with me. -

Yeah Iβd be surprised too with that. Although players can still be replaced after the deadline if they pick up an injury between the squad submission deadline and the opening match.

You would think it would be full house given the circumstances.

My message was from yesterday so we are 28 days now as well. Not that Iβm counting down or anything. π Aye I havenβt been this excited since Christmas Eve 1986 when I got my ZX Spectrum. Either that or May/June 1998. -
Roundabout just under 40k ish is my estimate. Not sure how many fans Finland will bring as donβt know how big their travelling support is?
