Sherps
Feckin' right. We can do this. Let's see what happens when they start declaring.
saintlyscot
Glasgow is the key.
dezmondo
I'm not getting this negativity. They can't know that much. It will come down to the big councils - Glasgow, fife, Lanarkshire etc. Until they declare its wide open
Donaldo87
Glasgow, Dundee, N. Lanarkshire. 20% of the electorate. Win those three and we'll be well on the way.
GRBear
You can't help but worry though it's such a big thing and for it to be taken away will be absolutely heartbreaking.
jumbocummings
Independence is mainstream now, even if it's in the low 40's. That's the best I can say.

in5omniac
We're down but we're not out. Hard to be positive with just two poor results early on. C'MON SCOTLAND!
new hugh
There's quite an incredible thunder and lightning storm here in London right about now. I've never seen anything like it. Violent fork lightning and bucketing rain. A sign? Edited September 19, 2014 by new hugh

scotlad
Two of the three areas who have declared so far were always expected to vote No. That is about as positive as I can muster at the moment.

in5omniac
Two of the three areas who have declared so far were always expected to vote No. That is about as positive as I can muster at the moment. And all three combined are a small percentage of the electorate.
Toepoke
Independence is mainstream now, even if it's in the low 40's. That's the best I can say. Yeah we've done well in that respect. Has support for independence ever been higher than 30% until recently? If it was up to the Tartan Army to decide we'd be independent tomorrow. Unfortunately we're only about 1% of the population... scotlad
Unconfirmed reports that Yes is 'well ahead' in Glasgow. If true, then it probably won't affect the overall outcome but it might make the final result look a bit more respectable.
