Charlie Endell
Not sure, he's got share in the newish boozer at Cowcaddens Station. Nancy and her son Jason still run it. Jason has done a beer with Fyne Ales called Fyne State. Aye, it was good to see Nancy is still about when I was in not so long ago. Squirrelhumper
Aye, it was good to see Nancy is still about when I was in not so long ago. I'm in at least once a week at lunchtime. Good shop.

Flora MaDonald
There was another one years back, which sold pints for 10 bob. The name escapes me, but it was the mankiest boozer I've ever been in (and that's going some).

Fairbairn
Remember the name. Where was it Sauchiehall St, just next to Sleazies. Think it might be The Box now or something like that.
morrie21
Visited The Griffin for food and drink. Very good pub with nice food. Also went to The State Bar which I also enjoyed. Thanks for the recommendations
littleboyblue
This thread is a fairly accurate description of my first year in Glasgow, 1997. Stayed in Baird Hall so all these were all very familiar, probably too much so.
