Ally Bongo
We would have had a far better chance of winning in a behind closed doors match Now with a partisan home support it becomes more difficult Glad your trips are the priority .............. EIFA10
We would have had a far better chance of winning in a behind closed doors match Now with a partisan home support it becomes more difficult Glad your trips are the priority .............. Ridiculous comment, in my opinion. Because the players wouldn't hear the "always quiet and subdued" Tartan Army (even if they are outnumbered)? If anything, playing without any atmosphere (or in fact noise) might have made it a more difficult match to play in.
jcs
Georgia have 3 points from 5 matches and they got them playing Gibraltar if we can't beat them over there we won't and don't deserve to qualify of course people are glad it's an open doors game a lot of money has been invested in going

What a stupid comment! With that logic, Why have any fans at any games then? Side note how has Georgia's world famous partisan crowd worked for them so far this campaign? Side note how has Georgia's world famous partisan crowd worked for them so far this campaign? Anyone ...and i mean ANYONE - that thinks Scotland has a better chance of winning a tricky away fixture in a stadium with a partisan atmosphere where we have been gubbed before rather than an empty ground is telling fibs and trying to deflect their trip being more important than the 3 points You might not like it but it doesnt make it untrue .... Robroysboy
I want to qualify by playing Georgia in a stadium full of fans. To wish for a closed stadium to gain a sporting advantage is poor sportsmanship and not ethical ( in my opinion) You are ofcourse entitled to yours aswell. Bristolhibby
Troll time on this thread, Fans are an integral part of the game. Without fans there is no game. J
radian_13
People who want a closed stadium are the part time away fans who aren't going getting annoyed we will now get an away point. Ireland have a partisan support lets play that with no fans? Where was the call for Poland or Germany to be behind closed doors? Most German teams have partisan home crowds, should the Bundesliga ban crowds? Anyone -I mean ANYONE- who says this game should be behind closed doors are people not going concerned about how easy it will be for themselves getting tickets for France next year should we qualify
Ally Bongo
You can argue and deflect all yoos like There is nobody calling for the game to be played behind closed doors but plenty celebrating that it isnt for their OWN interests It doesnt get away from the fact that Scotland would have less chance of being pumped in Georgia again if the game was played behind closed doors Carry on
