  1. He scored double the amount of goals (4) for Falkirk, compared to the number of Dunfermline players he headbutted in the Petrofac Cup last season.
  2. What time are the bars open until in Faro? Arrive at 11pm. Be 12 before we hit our hotel. Need to know if is worth getting a taxi in
  3. Are tickets required for this after the game, or just turn up at the door? Can we expect a queue? Thanks.
  4. Still tickets for sale in the South Stand on the SFA website.
  5. Did you not order the official tickets using the friends & family option on one of your SSC accounts? I don't really care about the answer, more of a tip. You would have likely got seats together had you done it that way.
  6. I am guessing they are corporate/club returns.
  7. See the "Faro Town To Stadium Question?" thread.http://tartanarmyboard.co.uk/forum/index.php?showtopic=6400&page=3#entry219487
  8. Let me help. Look out for signs with "chafariz desta forma" on them.

It seemed to bring about a bit of debate. The fact that you have posted on it is irony in itself.

So, to close this "loophole", the SFA should add an extra condition, reading something along the lines of... The Member should absolutely not spend hundreds of pounds to travel to the match, buy 2 tickets (even if doing so is NOT denying someone else a ticket) and then attand the match using the ticket of his choice. As RETRO has already pointed out, common sense and facts. I'm out now. Carry on being ridiculous. The irony of all of this is RETRO will probably get breathalysed and denied entry from the mixed section and get in fine using his official away ticket. Everyone's a winner.

Which rules? Yours? Here are the only SFA SSC terms and conditions relating to away match points that I can see (see in particular 4.10 and note that he is attending the match and will be able to fulfil every other requirement): 4.8 The issuing of an Away Match ticket is conditional on each Member producing to the Scottish FA copies of valid travel documentation as may be notified bythe Scottish FA from time to time. 4.9 It may be necessary from time to time for a Member to collect their Away Match ticket locally in the city where the Away Match is taking place. The ScottishFA will advise each Member where to collect their ticket in advance ofthe match kick off time and they will be asked to present theirMembership Card or a valid Passport for identification purposes before a ticket will be issued. 4.10 If a Member does not collect their Away Match ticket and does not advise the Scottish FA, or such person authorised by the Scottish FA, prior to the match kick off timethat he/she will not collect the ticket nor attend the match, that Members membership to the Supporters Club may be suspended or terminated by the Scottish FA forthwith with no refund payable.

Your reasoning is nothing short of ridiculous.
  14. Update and good news... The GFA will provide a fan zone outside the stadium which will be located opposite Gates 20 and 21. Alcoholic beer and other beverages along with food and entertainment wil be available. Please note that No Alcohol will be allowed within the stadiums perimeter fence.
  15. They are just quoting what is on the Gibraltar FA website. There isn't a similar information page for their previous matches, so it's hard to tell if the warning is specific to Scottish fans (no idea why that would be ) or general.

HISTORY & DESCRIPTION The stadium was built to serve as one of the playing venues of the Euro 2004 football tournament. It was officially opened on the 23rd. November 2003. The first match played was a friendly between local clubs SC Farense and Louletano DC. During Euro 2004 the stadium hosted two group matches and the quarter-final between Holland and Sweden. The stadium was previously the home to both Farense and Louletano, which are currently playing in the lower leagues. As a result both have chosen to play most of their home matches in smaller stadiums, using the Estadio Algarve only for important matches. The stadium has now also become the official venue for the GFAs senior team official UEFA matches. The stadium is best known for its remarkable architecture. Stand-out features are its 73 metres high curved roof over two of the stands which are held up by a steel structure tied to four pillars. The stadium has a total of 320 VIP places and a total capacity of 30,305 seats. CRIME Crime rates are low in Portugal but pickpockets, handbag snatching and theft from cars are common in major tourist areas and can sometimes be accompanied by violence. Be alert, keep sight of your belongings at all times and beware of thieves using distraction techniques. Be extra vigilant in public transport and crowded train and bus stations. Do not carry all your valuables together in handbags or pockets. Leave spare cash and valuables in a safe place. Avoid leaving items in an unattended car, even for a short period. If you have no alternative, hide them in the boot before you reach your destination. Remember that foreign registered and hire cars are often targeted by thieves. Report the loss or theft of your passport or I/D card immediately to the local police and obtain a police report. You will need the report for insurance purposes and to obtain a replacement travel document. Sexual assaults are very rare in Portugal but you should be alert to the possible use of date rape and other drugs, including GHB and liquid ecstacy. Buy your own drinks and keep sight of them at all times to make sure they arent spiked. If you are going to drink, know your limit and remember that drinks served in local bars are often much stronger than those served in Gibraltar. Remember that you will be denied access into the stadium if you are noticeably under the influence of drinks LOCAL LAWS and CUSTOMS If you are caught taking or in possession of drugs for personal use, you may be subject to a fine or another sanction (including the seizure of personal belongings). Selling or trafficking drugs is a criminal offence and subject to severe penalties. You must show some form of identification if asked by the police or judicial authorities. In most cases it should be sufficient to carry a photocopy of the data page of your passport, but you may be asked to produce the original document. The police may act without warning and organisers, participants and anyone on the premises may be arrested, charged with a criminal offence and fined or imprisoned. If in doubt, you should ask whether the establishment you are entering is legally licensed. Any insults or damage to the Portuguese flag is viewed as a very serious crime in Portugal and the Police will act very robustly against anybody engaging in such an act. Remember Portugal is a friendly nation who is providing us with substantial assistance. Rubbish. He is going to the game and has paid to get himself and his wife to Portugal. He is entitled to his point, especially considering the game is not a sell out. The fact he has purchased additional tickets so he can sit with his wife, is irrelevant in this scenario. If he does sell his official away end tickets on, any buyer that is in the SSC had ample time to buy a ticket (and get a point). IF the tickets did not go to zero points, or we sold our entire allocation, meaning some missed out, then you would have a point. To add to this, it's never been easier to buy a home or neutral ticket, which also haven't sold out (and won't). This is no big deal at all.

Here is my definition of a harvester: Someone who purchases a ticket directly from the SFA, with the sole purpose of gaining an SSC away point; and who has no intention of attending the game itself. In addition to this, anyone who can no longer attend the match, has ample time and opportunity (i.e. they are not ill, or going through a life changing event) to return the ticket to the SSC and deliberately chooses not to.
