Rossy Posted November 29, 2014 Share Posted November 29, 2014 Not seen much of either team so far this season but early impression is that Aberdeen are good going forward but mince at the back. Keeper looks weak and unimposing. Dundee look good on the break but again the defence looks weak, especially the full backs. Like Harkins but Clarkson is a blouse. It's not the defence as such, it's the fact that Jack aside we have a midfield that is geared to attack...Pawlett, Hayes and McGinn. Jack does a power of work....surely due a proper international call-up soon....but the rest of the midfield is hardly geared to cover back. Well...I thought it was fair challenge, but 95% of tackles like that are given as free-kicks these days. Would have been furious if the boot had been on the other foot. We spend 90 minutes playing good football and getting into good positions, but we simply don't score enough goals. The return from the likes of McGinn and Pawlett is very poor.
