Fred_Zeppelin
Well, what a cracking atmosphere tonight, and not a single bed was wet.
Kirk
What was the fighting about?? Anyone know??? Next to south stand
redstevie007
Firstly, there were a couple of empty sections, not just single seats, but sections, suggesting that the SFA bawsed it up. Lots of Irish around us as well. Secondly, there was a bit of bother down below us in the second half and police and stewards had to go in. Utter shambles from the SFA - I hope to f*ck they've handled the England ticketing better.
redstevie007
What was the fighting about?? Anyone know??? Next to south stand Not sure - I was above it in the JS Upper. I do know it wouldn't have happened if proper segregation had been in place.
Delirious Nomad
It was just along from us and it was just some verbals. No fighting

Mowgli
Was between a guy in a kilt and a guy in a Scotland top, there were definitely punches thrown, loads of then. As mentioned though they both looked like Scotland fans. AN Irish fan in my row squared upto a Scotland fan for shouting "Intae those Irish s", Irish fan was advised to re insert his tampon and take himself to . Stella Artois 1366
I have been told that what ever it was that was going on was between locals. Heard that too - likely some Old Firm stuff going on at that tense stage just before our goal. At first I saw handbags. A few minutes later it looks as though 4 guys were kicking into somebody on the deck then the stewards and police moved in. Every Irish fan I met tonight was as friendly as us Scots. King Of Paisley
Pockets of Irish amongst us in the Lisbon Lions Upper. Brand new though. Guy sat next to me was from Sligo and chatting away quite the thing. Didn't mind me at all casting asperations on McGeady's and O'Neiil's parentage............................ Toepoke
Irish folks around us were sound. Just wanted to watch the game and support their team. I'd more of a problem with some of the sectarian p!sh a few of our own fans behind me were shouting...
John_B81
There wasn't a bit of bother from where I was (Lisbon Lions corner), but then expected that.
AberdeenAngus
Quite a few Irish near us in the North Stand. No problems at all. One came for a chat at half time and asked what we were singing when Loch Lomond was playing. They were obviously gutted at the result but quite a few shook our hands at full time. Yes they had to put up with a lot stick being directed towards their team and McGeady in particular but then again they had to expect that being in the home end. aljay
Chaos outside the ground before and after the game. Random barricades and police vans creating obstructions. Terribly (dis)organised all round I thought.
Toepoke
Every Scotland game I've been to at Parkhead has been an absolute shambles to get in to. There must've been about 10,000 outside at kick off...
Duncan Blackheart
Good on the SFA. We took their money and we took the points.
King Of Paisley
Agree with the chaos outside the ground. God knows why the police set up barricades. Meant having to cut through unlit wasteground and double back via the Emirates Arena and get back towards the Gallowgate from there. Shambles. jts73
WiLl anyone on this thread feel the same about away fans in our end when Poland come, same principle surely?
King Of Paisley
Poland isn't exactly close to Scotland so I don't think they will bring a huge support. Might be one or two of the expat community dotted around but that fixture won't have the same potential for scores of away fans amongst us.
