Toepoke
Saw him on a Liverpool documentary a few months back, was looking quite well but it seems he's been ill for a while We all remember him for his Hampden gaffe but he had a great career. In the world top 10 all time appearance makers.
Huddersfield
I hated that Liverpool team of the 70s & everyone that played for them, mainly because every bugger at school bar me & a few others seemed to support them (or another team a few miles up the M62 from here, but we don't mention that). Having made a half-hearted attempt at growing up since then though, he truly was a stupendous keeper.
bonzo
Aye he was a great keeper, I wonder how many caps he would have had if Shilton hadn't been around?

He'd have been England's most capped player without a doubt & by a long way...I'm no expert & both were clearly outstanding players but when I look back I think that he might have been better than Shilton. If the tales are to be believed, he was also probably a better influence on the dressing room.

I was thinking the same and Huddersfield answered probably most capped English of all time. Top keeper.
