EddardStark
I have heard this used a lot in the last couple of months. Especially in respect of those voters who moved from SNP voting in Holyrood elections over to No in the referendum. There was a lot made of Labour voters moving to the Yes side in droves. Perhaps the Tartan Tory vote was missed by the Yes strategists?
Rossy
Who knows what made some apparent SNP supporters vote no ? Maybe they were motivated by fear and greed like other no supporters , or maybe they were weak and easily manipulated by propaganda spread by the state media ? Or maybe their inner loyalist just burst out and they fancied a night in George Square waving a butchers apron, giving Nazi salutes, singing Rangers songs and attacking gays ? The No camp was a broad church of the cowardly, the greedy, the right-wing and the bigoted.....something there for everyone. Who can blame some SNP supporters for joining them ? wwta2007.com
I work with a guy who voted SNP in 2011 and said he'd vote No this week. I paraphrase when he said Labour was unelectable for Holyrood and thinks the SNP are doing a good job at that level. He wanted federalism, in effect. He'll probably vote SNP, again, in 2016.
