Jacobite
I heard an ex new Labour spin doctor saying this morning that Brown has "general authority" no idea what that means other than he is a Labour politican so of course he has the authority to do what he wants, its like a birthright. weekevie04
The Tories have played a blinder (UK wide) in this. Send Broony and Labour up to Jockland to save the Union and they themselves only come up to speak to their Standard Life chums or Conservative party activists with minimal interaction with the public or media, didn't they even refuse STV an interview with Poncy or Osborne did back in February. The Tories re-galvinised and run on a UK ticket of Cameron being the PM who saved the Union. Labour's vote collapses in Scotland thanks to the Yes voters engagement in politics, SNP get at least double figures of MPs next year. UKIP's strong polling fades as it becomes a Labour vs Tory battle ground down south, there will be debates between Milliband and Cameron which will show how unconvincing Ed would be as PM, and whilst many Tories may not like Cameron, they'll reluncantly vote for them over UKIP as it's Wesminister and first past the post. Tories might not win a majority, but they will win the mosts seats at the next General Election.

The SNP has today had over 4000 new members join and I am one of them. I never ever envisaged joining a political party but I now accept that voting alone is not enough. This whole escapade has both saddened and angered me. Gordon Brown is at the front of a party who have failed the Scottish people. Him and his party must be defeated in Scotland. exile
BBc news just said Brown has promised the powers will be delivered, (presumably bouncing his own party leader) "Speaking from Fife..." So Fife is the new decision-making nerve centre of the UK!

Grim Jim
He thinks he's played a blinder (putting the third question back on the ballot paper and labelling it "No") with no time for debate. However, he who sows the wind.... Who the fuuk wants "extra powers" anyway. Was that what this was about? The 55 can go cap in hand. See what they get. And aye, they have made me bitter together. King Of Paisley
When it came to his lectures about pensions being safer in the Union you couldn't have held a blowtorch to his craven, treacherous neck given it were he who raided the pension pots and made final salary schemes a thing of the past. Lying, sleekit Judas .
wee-toon-red
When he was making his speech this morning, he informed us that whatever irrelevant piece of paper was going before the commons on Monday was signed by the leaders off all three westminster parties. He then assured us that he had also signed it, so we could be sure that it would be implemented. What the actual hell? So, in Scottish Westminster terms, Brown seems to be next important after Cameron, Miliband and Clegg. The 's a backbench MP who doesn't spend any time in parliament and travels the world getting paid by big business. They really couldn't treat the Scottish people with more contempt if they tried

HIGHTOWER 1314
When the rovers were dying in 2005 i was involved in the reclaim the rovers campaign to help save the club.We were at meeting 5 or 6 times a week sometimes 2 a night which was hard going but we got there in the end.Broon was brought in because of his high profile and because he had contacts with plenty big money people. He made promises to bring a lot of money to the table through his contacts to help save us but when it came to the crunch he failed us big time.We raised the money required to buy the 2 clowns out who were threatening to pull the plug but had nothing left in the kitty to consolidate things due to his poor efforts. It was upsetting but he stil received the praise at the end of the campaign and when we had we party to celebrate he made some excuse so he couldnt turn up.
