  1. No chance of a repeat of the Georgia game at least, must've been half a dozen guys in front of me pulling out pockets of white mulch at the turnstile.
  2. ghorne67

    U21s

He's in the u/17s squad for their euros elite round qualifiers
  3. Can you log into someone else’s ticket app on your own phone. My mate is likely going to miss the Hungary game but has a ticket, can I log into his account on my phone to get the ticket?
  4. Good luck with the ticket scramble today! Anyone reckon I’ll have a sniff of a ticket with 10 points?
  5. Hopefully a bit more upbeat than Del Amitri managed last time we qualified for a tournament in another country.
  6. I believe if you get no notification your booking has been cancelled, booking.com are liable to find you alternate accommodation. Most of ours are with 'reputable' hotels so hopefully shouldn't have an issue with them, its the independent hotels/homestays/hostels that I'm more worried about.
  7. We're flying into Frankfurt and then we've booked free cancellation digs for every possible fixture. Took a wee bit of time to set up a spreadsheet and find digs for every outcome but glad I've got that sorted before the dirty rush once the draw is out. Hopefully the bookings that we actually need don't get cancelled by the owners once all the prices start going through the roof. I would say it was a bit of a nightmare trying to find accommodation in Dortmund and Gelsenkirchen. Might just be they weren't on sale yet but worth doing a bit of research into smaller surrounding cities, Bochum, Essen, Duisburg, Leverkusen and even Eindhoven are fairly close by.
  8. That's because they have League One, League Two and Hibs players in their squad.
  9. Personally I'm not too fussed if I get tickets or not. I'm on 10 points, some of my mates are on 14+, some on less than 10. I'd actually rather watch the game in the fan fest with all my mates rather than than be seated in the stadium on my own. We'll all enter the ballot and hopefully source tickets that way. We've now got affordable accommodation sorted for all 54 potential group stage fixtures so should be a few bob extra in the kitty to source tickets if needs be.
  10. Probably came up, had one look at the Scotland training facilities compared to England's and thought bugger that. Embarrassment that we train at a glorified Junior ground.
  11. He's probably looked at Anthony Gordon and Harvey Barnes (both Scottish qualified funnily enough) in training this summer and realised it will be hard enough to get ahead of those two to get picked for England, never mind ahead of Sterling, Rashford, Saka, Foden, Eze, Maddison and whatever else is coming down the pipeline. As much as it pains me to say it, England are an absolute talent factory at the moment. Every youth group is churning out top players. Bloody delighted Anderson has seen sense all the same. The tricky creative winger/attacking midfielder is one position we don't have much depth in and Gilmour/Hickey/Patterson/Anderson/Doak gives a cracking nucleus for the next 10 years +
  12. Cracking collection to have. Will you nip it in the bud there or you planning to source the pre-86 ones now? Some great kits in there, maybe it just nostalgia talking but the 80s/early 90s really was the real pinnacle for Scotland tops. Such a noticeable drop off in quality during the Fila/Diadora years
  13. I see Eddie Gray's grandson made his debut for Leeds on Saturday, only 17 years of age but getting rave reviews. Already playing for England's youth squads unfortunately. Crazy to think we might miss out on Darren Fletcher's two sons, Davie Weir's son and Eddie Gray's grandson.
  14. Not only is Anderson competing with all the abundance of wingers/attacking midfielders England already have in and about the squad, he'll also have to beat out his teammates Harvey Barnes and Anthony Gordon for place for club and country. The chances of him winning more than 3 or 4 caps for England are pretty low. I suspect he might play for England U/21s this year and then in a few years play for Scotland Angus Gunn style.
  15. Bugger that. Should be decided on the Fifa Rankings. What's that? We're up to 30th now above Wales. Great timing.
  16. As great as keeper as he's been for us, his distribution is far from adequate. Especially in the modern game. He gives Rab Douglas a run for his money with the ball at his feet and his kicking.
  17. If Tierney is fit I hope to god we're not considering going with 5 at back at home to Georgia. It's such a negative tactic against 'lesser' teams and completely restricts our ability to play through the lines and dominate in the attacking third. Get an extra attacking midfielder on from the start, move Robertson up to LM/LW and let's get this game won.
  18. I'd have McT over Gilmour just so we have a bit height and physicality in the team. Gilmour off the bench to settle the game down and keep possession once we are 2-0 up!
  19. Aye Adams not making it is a seekner. He still carrying that injury from when he went off injured vs Cyprus? Looked fairly innocuous at the time. Disappointed to see McLean AND Jack both still getting in every squad. Would rather we brought in Hackney or another youngster instead of one of them, neither offer anything special and are both likely out of the picture completely this time next year.
  20. Rubbish. Walker, Stones, Grealish have started every week and they aren't foreign. They had three lads starting yesterday who grew up a stones throw from the stadium. If Tierney couldn't get a game for Man City it would be because he's not good enough...which he probably isn't given that the guy keeping him out of the Arsenal team couldn't get a game for Man City.
  21. Just wait until you all hear you're getting a point if you bought a ticket through your membership.
  22. He was getting linked with Juventus at the start of the season so I'd imagine he's at least half decent. Dad is Albanian, Mum is Scottish, he's born in Hamilton....naturally Ireland have scooped him up at u15s
  23. He's got all of 14 caps for Scotland. I'd absolutely amazed if a bit part player at best with so few caps had the brass neck to announce his international retirement.
  24. I'm sure there's plenty of SPL teams queuing up to match his £40k a week wages
