  2. Gk :Gunn, Gordon , Kelly/clark Defenders : souttar, Ralston, hickey,McKenna, hanley, hendry, Tierney, porteous, Robertson, doig Midfielders: gilmour, McGregor, mclean, Christie, mctominay, mcginn, Fraser, Forrest Strikers: dykes, Adams, shankland, Conway, That's the likely squad we call up for these games and who will probably go to Germany. Theres 25 names there so there's room for 1 more which could be someone like doak or Stewart unless Armstrong makes it. If hickey isn't ready then I think mccrorie will probably come in.
  3. Griffiths really hit some form for Scotland around that time but then it went downhill for him quickly and we never got to see him continue it. Shame as he was a good goalscorer and a decent player all round.
  4. It's not impossible but it's very unlikely. We are bothering because we want to achieve what we have never done and get out the groups. Surprised I am having to explain this to Scotland fans but we are extremely unlikely to win euro 2024. Denmark was a surprise in 92 but it wouldnt be anything in comparison to us winning a 24 team euros. I base my predictions on our past history, our current squad and our current form. If you factor those three things then you will understand that us winning it is very unlikely. That's not me looking at reasons why we can't do something, that's just being realistic about what we are likely to achieve. It's a bit embarrassing that ppl are even discussing winning it in here. To think we laugh at England for the same delusional shit, only difference is those cunts actually stand a decent chance.

  6. Seems to only be an issue in Glasgow. When us and Hibs won the Scottish and took over the city, there was plenty of fan on fan fighting amongst other nonsense. Why do the OF fans get picked out as this is the norm? Man City fans did the same last year when they won the CL.
  7. Ah ok, nice one ๐Ÿ‘ Never knew that about Euro 84, I always forget about that tournament for some reason.
  8. The Danes qualified for Euro 1984. They had an incredible side back then and lost in the semis to Spain in a penalty shoot-out. Agree with the rest of the stuff you say. Too much of a "making up the numbers" mentality with some folk and as long as we have a good p*ss-up then everything's fine.
  9. That was my point, whoever heads into the cc to celebrate, trashes the place and fights amongst themselves, 2 cheeks of the same arse.
  10. Both clips looks like drunk fans fighting amongst themselves I just searched twitter for "glasgow" to see if there was any bother of note - i.e The Onion Bears v The Green Brigade Neither of the Ugly Sisters in large groups are classy but it's par for the course
  11. At least you can multi-task Breeks, don't knock it ๐Ÿ˜„
  12. But to level the playing field, thereโ€™s some bear on bear action too, plenty more vids out there today. @Ally Bongo I assume some of the vids youโ€™re relating to is large numbers of โ€œsupportersโ€ chanting โ€œooh ahh, up the raโ€ in public streets? Very classy indeed.

  15. Surprisingly calm in Partick tonight so far. Pints of venom being chugged at the Rosevale, the Windsor looking quiet as was the Victoria. Smiddy and the Dolphin subdued in the circumstances, certainly not giving it laldy as far as I could see.
  16. Can't see any reporting of such incidents online or twatter Plenty of pictures of the GFITW celebrating in large numbers - that large it would be madness for anyone to get tore into them
  17. Sevconians being Sevconians. Cannot handle being 2nd best once again.. Celtic supporters behaving and enjoying winning the League, "Again". Just defending ourselves from the Scotland's shame. Was on the phone with ma cousin from Glasgow, and it sounds like the sevconians got a good kicking off the park aswell.. Fannies !! You would not understand all this DD, as your club would have to actually win a trophy......
  18. It could be argued too though that both Adams and Shankland are on the transfer market. All quiet on the EPL front interest-wise for Shankland whereas by all accounts both Wolves and Everton are chasing Adams. For the record I am torn between Adams and Shankland for who should start for us.
  19. Agreed. Our best players are midfielders so to weaken ourselves in that department by dropping one of our midfielders for Adams or Shankland makes no sense. We need our strongest eleven players out on the pitch.
  20. Walked past the "queen Mary" mural today outside Nottingham Station. Local lass apparently. I've a few woman's football fans in the office and she's an icon.
  21. I'm not sure I'd draw the conclusions you have. Southampton finished fourth place and weren't as far off the top as Hearts were. There is a bigger gulf between the old firm and the rest of the league than there is between Leicester and the rest of the chanpionship. Hearts were way off the old firm and it's probably fair to say a lot of the reason they finished third is because they had Shankland. Getting 31 goals in Scotland, outside the old firm, is more impressive than Adams' stats. Adams hasn't scores for us since he made it 4-1 against Armenia. He's only really scored one important goal for us and that was against Denmark. He's also known to miss sitters at club level and has missed some major ones for us. Shankland, obviously, misses sometimes but is known as being pretty clinical.
