Swinney should grow a backbone and tell Harvie and the other weirdos to fuck off. Embarrassing listening to harvie and Grier. he needs to back his deputy FM. he should be clearly saying he isn’t interested in working with the Greens. -
Season 23/24

I’m seeing the same sort of confidence about tomorrow from some of our fans that I saw in the huns ahead of the first derby match and I don’t like it to be honest. I’m going to walk into the Merchant City after the game and meet Mrs Slasher, hopefully for a few celebratory drinks. Hopefully a pleasant day in the sunshine and nae feckin nonsense! -

I'm surprised that Harvie is talking about how 'fearful' the LGBTQ community (as if that's one single thing) is about rolling back rights. As a society we've moved on and I can't see us taking away rights that have already been granted. That doesn't mean that society shouldn't be less prejudiced, that it should be more accepting etc. but I feel there's a level of scaremongering going on. Some of it might be held quite sincerely but some of it could be tactical in order to keep the Greens in the headlines, 'champions' of a cause that has already been settled. -
Series Worth Watching

I’ve enjoyed ‘A Man In Full’ on Netflix. Just the one season so far but I think there will be more 👍 -
Don't know if this has been mentioned before but I have researched this and have just applied. It was a bit of a pain getting all the info as we are hiring the campervan. You need its registration and also its VC5 information. There is a 80 euro fine per instance and the low emission zones are quite big in Germany. Once you apply they do an assessment on your vehicle before sending out the sticker- so i wouldn't leave it last minute. Wasn't overly expensive, as I said just a pain to get the info on the camper. https://www.rac.co.uk/drive/travel/driving-in-europe/german-emissions-sticker/

If Dortmund and Atalanta win their respective European finals then it’s highly likely Hearts will get an automatic place in the group stages of the Europa League. -

Don't think a lot of the Swiss fans need to be based in Germany. Most will be able to travel to the games and back on the day if required.
-
Would be one hell of a gamble to throw Hickey into the euros on the back of at the best 180 minutes of friendly football in 9 months.Don't see Clarke taking that particular gamble somehow.

And they are minted. See the price of a pint in Zurich! 😱 J

https://www.bbc.co.uk/news/uk-68985701 Out of interest, I had a look at the current managers, only the 4 English, 1 Scottish and 1 Welsh manager would seem to be the potential suspect. -
Was always going to be an uphill battle after the 1st leg and then conceding an early goal in the 2nd leg pretty much put the tie beyond doubt. At this stage of the season, that’s the most important part. Of course seeing SJM captaining and potentially winning a European trophy would have been really nice but due to our recent bad luck with injuries at a terrible time, then I’d rather he was given the night off.

This is the only grey area that I don’t know what Clarke is going to do for that RWB role. Does he show faith in one of Ralston/McCrorie/Johnston to step up or does he look to one of the present mainstay players in the squad to fill in for the time being in that role?
-
Exactly! Who the hell asked Thomas Frank the the question? Usual bullshit journalists looking for stories. Frank doesn't want him risked but if the player & the Scottish medical team think it's not too risky he will be in Germany .
-
If it’s a toss up between him & Forrest then I’d opt for Doak every time. Just a pity he got injured at a bad time when he was getting the odd occasional appearance for Liverpool under Klopp and would have no doubt played a part in our remaining qualifiers back in November as well as these recent friendly games against Netherlands & Northern Ireland. If he’s fit and ready to play by the time the Euros come around then could be a very good option to call upon from the bench.
-
Moyes has said in the past that he would be interested in the job. Failing to get him if he’s let say at another EPL club by then & doing reasonably well, then McInnes would be the choice although part of me thinks he will want to have another proper crack at managing in the English Championship again in the future after his woeful Bristol City experience. Although having said all that, I don’t think Clark will call it a day after the Euros even if we have a dismal showing like the last one. Think he deep down really wants to take us to a first World Cup in this millennium, similar to how he ended our major tournament qualification hoodoo.
-
Some cracking designs. Quite tempted to order 1 or 2 to take with me to Germany.
-
McGinn and Villa knocked out of the semi final. It would've been nice for McGinn to win a major trophy, but it's equally nice that he plays one less match. He's not injured. Yay!

Just seen a Ryanair flight on the 13th of June (day before Germany game) for £141 direct from Edinburgh to memmingen. Great option for anyone still looking to head over. Only 1 hour on a bus from the airport direct into Munich.

Yeah. Forgot about Lewis. The White one is a weird one. By all accounts he's a top professional, but he seems kinda thin skinned. He was yelled at by Steve Round and he took a huff. England are light in midfield, so I can see Gray playing in midfield for them.
