  1. Past hour
  2. Match had been cancelled as the SFA have told Buckie they don’t meet the licensing requirements for promotion to the SPFL, whatever that means. EK now go straight to the final against either Clyde or Bonnyrigg Rose.
  3. Today
  4. The most exciting day in Scottish politics in ages and the board fecking crashes 😂 Humza rumoured to be on the verge of quitting with Neil Gray taking over. Haud me back. 😕
  5. im sure they will not give two fucks and rightly so. Unlikely to happen.
  6. Hopefully for Tierney the Euros will coincide with one of his fit months.
  7. I dread to think when you realise you’ve not actually bought the train ticket for those journeys and only purchased the seat reservations 🫣
  8. Yesterday
  9. Kieran Tierney…. yep he’s injured again 🙄 Groin injury suffered in training. Also - Aaron Hickey’s chances of being fit in time to play at the Euros rated as “not fantastic” by his club manager. Thank feck the Euros don’t begin for another 7 weeks but these increasing amount of recent injuries are deeply concerning to say the least.
  10. I was presuming that the Mods were all members of the green party ! Anyway - another meeting tomorrow (you dont have one for ages then 2 come along) at 10am and rumours that Humza is resigning and Kate Forbes wont be standing https://wingsoverscotland.com/here-you-go-again/
  11. Yes. This could lead to a Holyrood election. Do the Scottish Greens want to be seen to be responsible for electing a Tory or Labour first minister though?
  12. Is it possible to hold new holyrood elections under the rules as that is probably the only way out of this. None on the possible minority govt options are appealing.
  13. The linesman going for a VONC presumably after reading Wings
  14. they didn't say , I just said I'd be arriving possibly after ko and would they hang around to dish out tickets , they said there would be no pick up at the ground . They wont even have a hotel yet to tell us where to pick up
  15. Naw ye didnae. You've reserved a seat on trains you don't actually have a ticket for.
  16. The only way that could work is if all the other parties got together to agree a new first minister, which would effectively mean a coalition between Labour and Tories. Can't see that happening a few months before a general election. Their London bosses just wouldn't allow it. They would also need LibDim support as well. They are not going into coalition with anybody any time soon, after what happened to them the last time they did it.
  17. Highland league champions Buckie Thistle face Lowland champs East Kilbride on Saturday. 2 legged playoff. I can't see Buckie beating them. It's tight at te bottom of league 2 with 3 teams who could finish bottom. Bonnyrigg, Stranraer and Clyde could end up in that playoff against EK
  18. This is almost certainly the smartest move Humza has made since taking office. The situation is still slightly embarrassing for him though, since maintaining the BHA was part of his leadership bid and he was still in effect defending the agreement as recently as a couple of days ago, but in ending the agreement he's saved some face, for the time being at least. It'll be interesting to see what happens next. Wings was suggesting the opposition would have the numbers now to force a VONC, and if I was in Sarwar's position I'd be tempted, going by current polling. Then again, I expect both Humza's personal polling as well as his party's will improve as a result of today's announcement. A general election victory would assure his position as FM for a while longer.
  19. Given there an additional space or two, I'd keep James Forrest in. Even with my green specs off! He's experienced and can offer something different on either wing.
  20. There'll be folk staying in Albufeira, Vilamoura & Faro, would be bit of a pain not to be a Stadium pickup on the day (or Faro, if you're watching SFA 😉)
  21. Finally a good decision. Even if his hand was forced into making it and the shit has already hit the fan. At least they had the common sense to get ahead of the game and control the outcome.
  22. I'll bet Humza is absolutely buzzin' right now. He will be thinking along the lines of "I've survived for over a year with absolute bucket loads of shit being thrown in my direction, it's now time for me to show them "wha's in cherge aroond here". Will it work? Time will tell, I suppose.
  23. They wee rodents and their green pals get away with murder.
  24. His response of "I wouldn't know, personally" was almost Salmondesque. I wonder if he has been seeking some advice from some different people than he has been, up to now? 😉
  25. The wokies are already gunning for Forbes Steafan Dedalus @StFilansDream Kate Forbes is not the answer. Okay she speaks Gaelic which is good…but her right-wing neo-conservative ultra-Christian orthodoxy won’t cut it.
  26. Delighted to hear this news. I wonder if Yousaf will now resign, given that just yesterday he was saying the BHA was a good thing. I can see polling figures for the SNP rising as a result of this. Even better if the SNP moved away from some of the unpopular policies that resulted from the Greens being included in government - the woke stuff, plus the DRS that Slater made such a mess of and a few other things as well. It's an opportunity for the SNP to press the reset button, although I think for that to happen we would need Yousaf himself to be ousted.
