Toepoke
Won't be until much later than usual as they have to wait til the 2018-19 Nations League is over. Didn't realize the qualification had been compressed to run from March to October 2019. Busy year!. It's a bit more complicated too.... https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/UEFA_Euro_2020#Qualification

There doesn't appear to be a draw for you to watch there unfortunately... "For the 2018–19 UEFA Nations League, teams will be divided according to their UEFA national team coefficients after the conclusion of the 2018 FIFA World Cup qualifiers, with the highest-ranked teams playing in League A, etc. Each division will be divided into four pools of three or four teams, so each team will play four or six matches within their pool (using the home-and-away round-robin format), on double matchdays in September, October and November 2018." https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/2018–19_UEFA_Nations_League

tartanpar
As posted above, the UEFA Nations League will come before the Euro qualifiers: Six match days - Sep, Oct & Nov 2018. With the Final Four for the teams who win the top group (that cant be us) in June 2019. The play off matches (from Nations League) will place in March 2020 (yes 16 months after the group games). The UEFA EURO 2020 qualifying draw will be held after the completion of the UEFA Nations League (so after November 2018) and allow for the four UEFA Nations League Final Four participants to be drawn into groups of five teams The European Qualifiers for UEFA EURO 2020 commence in March 2019. There will be two matchdays in each of March, June, September, October and November 2019. Edited August 25, 2016 by tartanpar

sjd1972
I had hoped that with Platini out the picture the Nations League would get binned. Oh well.

Suppose it gives you a much greater chance of qualyfing but the actual play offs for euro 2020 aren't till March 2020. Can see it still getting canned when the clubs realise it will mean 8/10 qualifiers being played from March 2019 to November 2019.

One team from each league will qualify. This gives smaller countries the chance to qualify. One country from each league (inc the bottom one) will qualify. Here are the current projected rankings. We will likely be in League C and currently in Pot 2. http://www.football-rankings.info/2016/07/uefa-nations-league-update-15-july-2016.html I think its a great idea. Looking forward to it starting. tartanpar
If the Leagues stay the same one of Estonia, Georgia, Azerbaijan, Armenia, Latvia, Moldova, Macedonia, Kazakhstan, Luxembourg, Faroe Islands, Liechtenstein, Malta, Kosovo, San Marino, Andorra or Gibraltar are guaranteed to qualify. My bet would be Kosovo.
